to be honest i'm kinda suprised i wasn't beaten to the punch on this.

i think it's kinda a no-brainer, really. who could object?
-he's been around forever so he's definitely earned it
-he's an extremely personable guy and everybody seems to like him
-he certainly appears to genuinely care a great deal about the well-being of the crew

i wasn't going to nominate anyone at all until pop-tart suggested that if i were to be elected, hypothetically, that i should nominate somebody i'd want to work along side, and i couldn't think of anybody better

Is it really about how often I post? I've done plenty of my share of posting in my "clock" lifetime ever since I first joined in late 2002, but I find the quality of my posts is the better attribute to keep up with. As far as the well-being of the Crew, I want us to flourish as an animation group. Get back to where we were when we were in our prime and even go beyond that. Reclaim the attention of all Newgrounds goers so that we are in the back of every one of their member's minds. We were once a force to be reckoned with, and I'd like to achieve that once again. I wanna be behind the group that keep collabs and events going smoothly. Keeping our members anticipated on the events while participating as well to show good examples. My main concern isn't posts on the forum, but what we can do beyond them. I've been around these forums for years. I've seen it's ups and downs. I know what needs to be done to keep this place rockin' and rollin'. Vote for me and the sanctity of the Clock Crew shall be forever preserved.

Well as long as you check the forums every day and be active in the grid and vote on all the motions and whatnot then yeah I approve. You've got a great and clocky sense of humor and you have good ideas.

I think your passion for the crew is undeniable, Durian. Your place in CC history, unquestionable.

Patriot's concern.. which is shared by at least one of his admin peers (the black guy).. is that we have been working with a staff for the past six months that was 50% active on its best day.

We got minimal feedback on proposals, minimal support on agendas and minimal execution on initiatives. Clockday, Clockoween, Clockmas, The Flood.. were all orchestrated by 3-4 people.

So when Jeff says "I don't see him post a lot" he means "Durian is the fkkn man... but does he have the time to commit?" Because we are tired of events not being all they could be because our support team disappears."

I absolutely love every god damn word you wrote. If you are indeed able to make time in your life to help us do everything you just said... well fuck man, I'd give you my job.

I did want to apologize for not being as active as I would have liked to have been this February. I really wanted to participate in the flash flood, but this has been one of the most hectic months I've had in a while (Not trying to go into details, it's pretty personal, but if I have to go there to show my legitimacy, I will.).. but ever since I returned, I've been hell bent on trying to be as active as I possibly could this year. I wanted this to be the year of Durian. Finally set out to make a true name for myself. My legacy wasn't meant to end in 2006, which was the last time (before recently) that submitted flash. I jumped right on the Pass the Cash collab, made sure I had a quality flash to present on Clock Day, created two non-event flashes just for the fun of it, but February is the only exception to me trying to keep up with an active presence on the forums. I swear I'll never have another "almost-month-long" absence. It just really brought me down not to have time to be able to produce anything for the flash flood this past February. I just didn't really know what to post on the forums during that month if it wasn't flash content, which I really had hoped it would have been.

Oh believe me, I kept a watch of them and voted five and all, but I believe they were Flash Flood 2013, Flounder Party, and Pop's Flash Flood Finale

Voted yes because he's done it before and he did a decent job when he was on staff. That being said if you don't think you can show up regularly to check on the grid and at least vote on stuff I'd recommend turning down the nomination.

Was thinking about nominating him myself but wasn't sure if he would be up for it. Durian was a bit flakey for a few years and we all missed him terribly.

As long as he wants to do it, He's easily the biggest no brainer in this nomination forum.

Yay.
