Reading and Writing / goopadoop.doc

You did a good job about showing how appearances can be misleading, however I would not have guessed that your prompt was as such, I apologize if that came from my own density. Still, I'd like some freshly baked goods too...

Good job sir, you may have an avid writing career ahead of you!

Comedy Goldmine / Catch phrases?
October 31, 2009, 03:34:17 PM
Hey all... been a lil' bit of time with finals and things coming up.

But I've been wondering, do you or your character have a catch phrase that you'd say in a situation?

personally, I like to use "This is turning into some Serious Business..."

post any you have or like if you feel like it.

Pokemon Stadium / I might draw you

I just use a picture of bill or louis holding two pill bottles...

Since I'm not a clock yet, I'm not going to request a drawing, it's not worth wasting your time Propaganda. Still, it's nice of you to do something like this for people. Kudos.

General Discussion / Calimari?
October 04, 2009, 07:03:23 PM
Yeah... calimari is good, I'll have to see if I can try somewhere else, I like exotic foods... they're a bit tough on the digestion, but the feeling of breaking the rut is always worth it.

You ever notice on food network they always make stuff that's fried or something else bad for you?

Example: Paula Dean, Guy Fieri (no offense to either)

I saw my sister watching those shows and I'm confused... aren't they supposed to be healthy on the food network? I mean, I see a lot more bad food than good food. (cholesterol and calorie wise, not idea or taste wise)

PS- I am currently ingesting white castle... better square burgers than wendy's. Though wendy's has awesome chili.

General Discussion / Anybody Remember Microfish?

Quote from: FootballClock;1676651Or you can just use a computer, which renders television, radio, slide projectors, typewriters, record and cassette players, telegrams and social lives utterly useless!

It is truly a remarkable contraption.

True, computers are a marvel of the last 30 years... but back in the day, Microfish was important.

See, I have a thing for old technology, I even still use my old BETA tape player because it records in better quality than VHS. It's too bad that beta tapes aren't sold anymore, however, finding a stash of cartoons from my childhood was awesome.

Ducktales, Inspector Gadget, Super Mario Bros Super Show, Legend of Zelda

Good stuff, good times.

Quote from: FloundermanClock;1676506Don't listen to Loki he's just trying to mess you up. He's fairly well known for trolling the new kids. All you need to know to post well here:

^Use passive form exclusively, active form makes you sound I'm a edgy teen.
good: I was being shot by him
bad: He shot me

^ Extend your thoughts by using ellipses rather than separating them into different thoughts.

^rather than expressing your emotion through your words, use emoticons. Try to be creative with them, like so
good: ^_^ >w> OwO ≧▽≦ (☞゚∀゚)☞ ;w;
bad: :( :) ;)

Thank you master flounderman, I will take your advice  to heart. I appreciate all you guys and gals (if there are any) being so supportive.

As a side note to everyone, I would be curious as to who would be interested in joining my comics if I prove good enough. I'm not really sure what it will be about, as I would hate to simply become a parody device like family guy. Parody devices are still cool, but a lot of the jokes have been used up. I'd have to think of some custom plots or something in order to make it appealing.

Still, I suppose if you want to join, want a cameo, or have a suggestion, feel free to drop me a PM sometime later. Just don't be surprised if I mutilate your design of your character. V_V

Because grammatical wise, Ellipses are the best way to create a run on sentence with multiple thoughts, without spamming commas or semicolon splicing... (yay Ellipse)

And I apologize if the title of Ellipse Master belongs to Master Blue Clock... I didn't mean to threaten his position.

(rack up two more tallys for Pillz. XD)

Um... actually, I received the tablet for christmas... I just use it for doodling on paint if I'm bored, but I thought of making some comics...

Kinda the reason I wanted to join the cc... didn't want to sound like a hypocrite, but I wanted to make comics about people here if I found something funny or got to know them..., I was not planning on animation with flash...

Still, I will admit you all have raised my interest in the program, I may check it out if I get ample funds later...

I played the level, it was ok... I mean, I didn't get very far before a tank killed me just by standing next to me... it didn't hit me or anything... weird.

I was low on health yeah, but I turned and saw it and it was just... die bill. I'm like HUH?

Guess the ol' ticker just couldn't handle the sight...

Quote from: Solenoidclock;1676126I had whole baby octopus at a Chinese buffet. It makes me sad to see them dead but I still ate them. The mastication was unique, initially it was like a wad of big league chew.

So was it good? I mean, of course eating baby octopi is bad... but still, worth it?

Hmm... in your opinion, may I ask, is it easier to use flash with a graphics tablet?

I mean, I'll obviously have to watch some tutorials... I'd rather stick to comics, but I admit flash doesn't sound bad...

Perhaps I may end up someday being a halfway decent artist who's confident enough to spam newgrounds with my shoddy amatuer attempts at expression and plots... XP

General Discussion / Anybody Remember Microfish?
October 03, 2009, 03:21:27 PM
Ok, I was helping my uncle clean out his garage the other day, and I saw this odd looking device.

He told me it was called Microfish... like an old projector. It uses these thick cards with many cells on them, and you insert the card into a reader, and it blows up the images on the screen that were in each cell in the card. You use a joy stick to move around between rows and columns of the cells. He said it was easier than having a bunch of manuals.

Instead of reading and bitchin' , try microfishin'!

way cool...

General Discussion / Calimari?
October 03, 2009, 03:17:48 PM
Dude... alright, I was taking a lunch break at Golden Corral... and I saw what I thought were onion rings... imagine my surprise when I bite into it and it is rubbery and white and tastes like some kind of fish but it is good...

Quite an odd piece to eat but it's not bad...

Anybody else have those odd seafood cravings or experiences?

Quote from: GamblerClock;1675895Hey, can you post some of your drawings?
Also you need to download flash ASAP.

Well... I would dl flash but it costs 700 US dollars... XP

As for my drawings, some of them are mainly scanned but... since I broke my hand I'm not as good as I used to be. I'll work on something and post it up or PM it to you, Master Gambler. I have a DA with my drawings on it. I kinda used the name salt clock... sorry if there already is one. I made the account two years ago so... water under the bridge I hope.

enjoy. the character bios were scanned, both before I broke my hand... I can't draw that well anymore sadly... but I can still goof with my tablet.

Um... I apologize if my writing appeared high-browed... I didn't mean to offend anyone...

And plus, slaughterhouses aren't the best place to go... you could get into an accident. Be careful out there!

Good morrow, all members of the crew clockwise.

My name is Pillz... happy to meet you! I'm currently an untalented person with random insights of topics.... so be advised when talking to me, lest I confound your senses with my interjections of subliminal messaging and topic disclosures.

I don't have flash, but I do have a graphics tablet... I'm currently working on my drawing skills so that I can possibly make comics. I'm not sure if anybody would be interested in reading them or not...

As for such, I'm wondering if an 'audio comic' is a good idea... perhaps using speakonia for a soundfile to play along with the characters or something... that idea is still in the primordial stew phase so I'll take any reflections on that.

I also do a fair amount of creative writing... I love to make Fanfictions or write my own science fiction stories. If you would like to browse one of my fanfic works, here is a link...

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5314526/1/Recollections_of_an_Enigma

It's a Persona fanfic, so unless you know what it is, you might get confused...

I look forward to enjoying a most likely mutually beneficial existence with you all...

Be excellent to each other! Party on!

Gaming & Technology / Old PC Star Wars Games
October 03, 2009, 11:17:13 AM
Does anybody remember the other games?

I've got an old copy of SW: Full Throttle for my pc... found it when going through some old folders...

I also found my favorite, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire for N64... best shooter game of '95
