Entertainment / twin peaks SEASON 3

It's more that the second series pales in comparison to the first for the most part; there are still loads of great moments and great episodes. It's more that there is one particular awful sideplot that develops in it where all the soap awfulness resides. You'll know it immediately when it happens. I wonder if there's ever been a fan edit where they just cut out James Hurley entirely.

Quote from: BilliardBall10;1978029nice to meet you, chocolate coffin clock! (or evilberry, if your prefer)
the names strikes me as a very familiar clockname, so chances are that i must've seen you in 2007-2008 around here. (i recall an evilberry in 08)
correct me if im wrong, tho.

also! it will be great if you do flash, its always nice to see an old clock to return back to the old places....
im a new clock, but hey, i have been a fan of clock movies since 03. (and eventually i joined up on 07)

again, very happy to meet you! you seem like a nice guy!

I'm not sure exactly when I left cc.cc but there are some (brief) posts from me from 2k12 and 2k10 on here it seems. but yeah, I used to post a good bit back in the day I think (defo 04 - 07 anyway)!

I'm going to hopefully do some messing in flash :) and thanks for the kind welcome, you seem like a nice guy as well.

Entertainment / twin peaks SEASON 3

Season 2 goes off the deep end... into the deep bottomless pits of soap opera-ism awfulness. Season 2 is a definite disappointment in comparison to season 1, but it still manages to redeem itself with the finale which is (thankfully) directed by Lynch. Season 3 is said to be completely directed by Lynch, so it may be worth the trawl through season 2 as preparation for it. I also think it's a pretty cool idea to see a TV show returning after such a long down time; it'll probably be interesting even in terms of that 'watching a trainwreck' type of interesting.
It's defo not a show that's for everyone, I personally love it, and yeah, fans are pretttttty apologetic about the second season, but I think that had alot to do with ratings struggles + lynch's lack of involvement. I have hope for what's coming.

but have you heard the plans about the prequel 'catch up' book frost is writing in preparation for the new series? don't know how much faith I have in that idea...

"Twin Peaks co-creator and executive producer Mark Frost plans on publishing a book in late 2015 that will fill in fans of the show on everything that's happened to its characters since the series went off the air in 1991." via here

Got Diablo 3, sort of tired of it for the moment, but I'm sure I'll come back to it.

Currently focussing on Dragon's Dogma, which despite some clunkiness is really endearing and fun to play. It's the sort of game that makes you hope for a sequel so that they can get it right.

Quote from: Slurpee;1829873I don't understand why you keep posturing when you're wrong
the first four notes of the jacula song are similar to the first five of ayaotd and after the first bar they aren't similar at all

try transposing them to the same pitch

the first four notes of the jacula song inform the structure of the entire ayaotd song.
