Over the weekend a friend and I made a ten minute short (with some help from others) for funsies.
It was concieved, shot, edited and scored in less then 48 hours.

I proudly present, Lipnicki.
A film, about a heist, gone wrong.

Enjoy!

Hey gang.
Here's something I've been working on for the past few months.
During the summer I managed to get the job of directing a low budget music video for a local band called The Amazing Few.
I put together the concept, we shot it in August and I've been editing it for the past few months, while juggling a few other things in my life. Anyways, it's finally finished and online.
Enjoy and spread the word since vids are all about getting the band publicity, plus it's a really cool song. Also, a lot of people worked really hard on this (for no money!!):

Check out their MySpace as well here:

Fun. :D

I watched the cartoon in my youth but it's the films that I really love.
Here's a rough edition of my personal review of the Turtles films.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie
Great!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze
Dumb, but still fun!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III
Irritating rubbish but kinda entertaining.

TMNT
Flawed but great!

Any other fans?

I really think this is a good example of how an illusion of political intellect is attempted through the criticism of an easy target but it seems they couldn't even do that properly. Whatever way you feel about Michael Moore you gotta agree they're just going for absolute cheap shots (making it no surprise that Bill O'Reilly appears in this).

For shame is all I can say. Considering some of the names that pop up in this, I don't think I've ever had more respect lost in such a small amount of time as the time I wasted watching this trailer.

I'm close to ceremonially burning my Naked Gun collection in response.

On my birthday in June a friend and fellow filmmaker of mine made me a Doctor Who DVD, knowing I was a Doctor Who fan. The DVD consisted of a slide show made on Windows Movie Maker (I think) which played to the end music from Cloverfield.

Delighted by this I decided to respond in kind on his birthday (which was celebrated last night). I was working on making something a little more than just a slide show set around Stargate (since my friend's an SG-1 fan), however it ended up being an extremely rough summary of the original film, starring another good friend of mine who happened to come over that day and wanted to help out.

Anyways, enjoy:

EDIT: I made it so you don't need to click the link no more making it street legal.
