It's been a while and I'm busy with finals, but I got it done today! Tinkering with more materials & lighting.

are you making the textures from scratch?

also what do your poly counts look like? I'm learning blender, and subdivision surfaces and fiddling with selective application of the "smooth" shading are useful to an extent, but I seem to keep hitting a ceiling where I'm just kind of resigned to bits looking a little lumpy :|

No problem! Textures from scratch? Some but not all. Poly counts vary depending on the model. The BB10 picture above is roughly 960 polys. Meshs being lumpy... I can't really say for sure. I would say add more verts, It would really depend on what you're modeling.

It's a stretch, but I think it would liven things up around here...maybe. Hypothetically, whats some stuff you'd like to see on a site if we were to have one? Would you stick to classic CC style or go a different path?

One of my final projects to close out my first year in my college Graphic Design program.

In my Photoshop class, the project was to create a package case (dvd/cd/game) with an original design/concept using various tools in ps. So nonetheless, i went to my roots and chose to make a fake game case for a fake Clock Crew game. Label and case cover made in PS, then put onto shapes in Blender to give it a realistic feel.

Thought I'd show it to yall since its relevant to this place lol. It was fun though :D Any critique is welcome.

I decided to get into 3D modeling and I'm fascinated by it. It's so much fun to see stuff in a different dimension other than 2D in Flash. Im still kinda new to it, but I'm gettin the hang of it I think. More notably, I want to get better at texturing, materials, and lighting.

 If anyone wants their clock character made, post here! and I'll do my best to do it! Big thanks to Renegade for introducing me to Blender a couple months ago!
