I'm 3 episodes into Stranger Things. Someone recommended it to me on the basis that I'm a fan of The X-Files, so I gave it a look and I'm really enjoying the hell out of it.

I know, it's so campy it's actually good. Washed out cowboy-esque sheriff kicking ass, nerdy teens finding a mutant girl, social outcast teaming up with prom queen, evil government goons. It's all so predictable and cheesy, but fun as hell.

started watching "The Night Of" (HBO) and "Stranger Things"(Netflix) this weekend.

Both neat, the night of a bit slow, but good, i don't know if the same people who made True Detective are involved but it sure feels like it. Stranger Things has that campy ET, Super 8, IT, kinda vibe, give it a try.

playing the new Doom, it's pretty neat. No story whatsoever, but i like that they included so many secrets. Gameplay is fast paced and i like the simplicity of the leveling system. Enemy AI is non existing, they just all want you dead with no regard of their own life, NEAT. Like one demon can fly, but only seems to use it to get into your shotgun range as fast as possible.

Anyway, after playing Fallout and The Witcher this is a welcome no brainer shooter, specially cause i've got the new Deus EX and Mass Effect on my wishlist.

all my non gaming friends are playing this. It's annoying, they think it's amazing. fucking casuals.

Were you an ingress player?

No, but to be fair what i read i makes sense cutting so much of Ingress functions for Pokemon Go to appeal to a larger, non-gaming, community.  For instance my coworker is really excited that he can fight other people in this game. Apparently he has never played an multiplayer game in his life and this feature is new to him. i work in the sport (football) industry with a lot of jock like guys who think everything fantasy/sci-fi/games/comics etc is nerdy (i'm literally the only one watching Game of Thrones in a 100+ people company with people aged 20 to 40 max). What makes Pokemon a hit is it's limited options and everybody here i playing it. The fun part is that they have no idea what Pokemon are  considered good/cool/rare in the Pokemon world. I told them my house had a Dragonite and they responded "oh i don't have that one yet, is it any good?"

I'm productive about 15% of my time at work. Mostly i browse the web, play games, just hang around basically.
The other day they gave me a 650,- euro a month raise (so 7,8k a year on top of my regular salary)  and told me i need to take some more days off because i've been working so hard and i should be careful not to get a burn out.

I'm still not sure i'm not being pranked.

Oooo I just realized this is page 7314

Jaime is going to murder the shit out of Cersei fo sureeee

Cersei's queenship

A younger, more beautiful queen will be Cersei's undoing.
Cersei: When will I wed the prince?
Maggy: Never. You will wed the king.
Cersei: I will be queen, though?
Maggy: Aye. Queen you shall be... until there comes another, younger and more beautiful, to cast you down and take all that you hold dear.[3]

Cersei's children

Cersei will outlast her children and die by the hands of "the valonqar".

Cersei: Will the king and I have children?
Maggy: Oh, aye. Six-and-ten for him, and three for you. Gold shall be their crowns and gold their shrouds, she said. And when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar (High Valyrian for "little brother") shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you.

i am still cool

last year i played 600+ of Witcher 3.

Other than that Fallout 4, Far Cry Primal, Halo 5, Star Wars BattleFront, Fifa 17and Rise of the Tomb Raider. All of them combined still not as much as the Witcher though.

Looking really forward to Deus Ex Mankind divided, Dishonerd 2and Mass Effect Andromeda.
