Recently, I just bought the new Rise Against CD "Appeal To Reason".

I really enjoy it, probably my favorite Rise Against album so far.

Coulda sworn there was a sticky on this but I guess not.

You're Gonna Go Far Kid is the best Offspring single in years.

All the songs sound the same but it's still good dingen. Not terribly different from other generic aggrotech bands but better than many.

I like the 1989 version of Machineries of Joy better but the rest of the disk's remakes are great. Both disks bundled and I got it for only 15 bucks brand new, nice.

I feel so wrong owning this album

I just got that album from the library. It's pretty cool.

Also, I just bought Architecture in Helsinki's "In Case We Die" and Offspring's "Americana" off SixShooterClock.

Todd Rundgren:

Hermit of Mink Hollow
Liars (critically lauded but doesn't do it for me)
Todd (underrated)
Runt
edit: Faithful

Randy Newman - Sail Away (alright)

Joni Mitchell - For the Roses

Neil Young - Live at Canterbury House 1968 (good performances, annoying chat)

Definitely a classic. I've been wanting a copy for some time now, but I never seemed to see it in stores.
