Okay so I'm trying to make a good high school yearbook cover, but I'm having trouble.
The theme we're doing this year is "Pieces of the Puzzle" yeah I know it's corny but so is every yearbook.
This is what I have so far:
What I'm thinking about is replacing most of the puzzle pieces with pictures of students around the school.
My main problem with the cover right now is that it's really cartoony and I want to make it look more professional. Any suggestions?

I'd have a face from right side, holding it's left palm over it's left eye abit mellowly and it's head/backhead breaking off into puzzlepieces but that's just me and my emo mind.

Thunderbolt

use thin lines and transparant (black and white) borders

If you showed us some screenshots, we could diagnose it more properly.

Yearbooks are fucking hard.
