Keeping that in mind, the vastness of everything is so humbling. Even if our consciousness did persist beyond the lifespan of our bodies it wouldn't really even matter. Our existence is so small compared to the infinite universe- let alone the theory of an infinite multiverse; it's enough to floor anyone.

I think the best thing any individual can do is cope with that concept and enjoy their existence as much as possible, however difficult that may be.

I really am a big weirdo.

No, you are in fact the only person ever who does that.

I mean I get it, I know I'm not the "only one" who does this kind of thing; teen angst aside I meant more like...
How often do we all experience that phenomena? I've found that the older I get the more time I am spending pondering those things and just kind of... wanted to see into your guys heads.

I mean are we all just Nihilists in the CC, is that unanimous? Or do we have very differing opinions?
I for one am very much on the fence about this whole cosmos and meaning of life thing.

I realize a lot of the time I spend staring .
Staring at my computer screen trying to decide if there is a game I hate the least enough to play.
Or staring at concepts; like staring with their minds eye at the disaster of the world, or the disaster of my country, or simply the struggle that is life.
Or maybe staring into space, and the idea that there is potentially endless nothingness in the vastness of space.
Or catching yourself staring at something beautiful/handsome/complex especially if it is another person who will definitely become uncomfortable if they notice your prolonged gaze.
I think I would wish for immortality so I could just observe everything.

EDIT: Oh right, I forgot to ask; do you all every have moments like this?

I'm playing Overwatch quite a bit these days. No expert by any means but lemme know if you want to play : >

I just picked up Overwatch, too. I jump between a lot of different games, but I'm sure we can arrange something at some point. Colossus#1695

I watched that TMNT  "sea-squall" from this year and it was really fun to watch. If you go into the movie a total ass-nerd expecting it to live up to some kind of nostalgia you'll be dissapointed of course. But the atmosphere as a whole felt like oldschool tmnt. Light hearted, fun, with a dash of serious meaning. The last 30 min felt rushed, but otherwise a blast. Bebop and Rocksteady p-much stole the show for me.

Wow holy shit. Thank you all. I love this place and everyone in it. I wish I could do more to contribute. Honestly the CC is a big shaping point in my life (I'm not sure if that is awesome or pathetic). I can't let it die, if it's in my power. Literally everyone in this thread- and so many more who have left to pursue their lives- are the reason I keep lurking. I guess I am the ultimate lurker.

But I wasn't lying when I said Durian re-uped the domain this year. I will be reimbursing him this week, but without his contribution the domian wouldn't be here right now. If you all really want to know the domain is $12.67 USD a year this year.

Anyway I plan on doing my best to be more active this next 12 months (I even made .net my homepage). I might help to force this place to live, but you all make it thrive.

Long Live the CC.

We should also all thank Durian for his contribution to keep our domain up! Hooray!
