this tirade, like every war in the world, was brought to you by me skipping one line of the slurpeepost

It's still for sale, just $10 more

Man, I loved EGM, especially 2001-2004ish when they had PS2 demo disks. I'm normally so impulsive but this is the first time I'm saying NO, STUPID BABY. DON'T SPEND MONEY ON SOMETHING HEAVY YOU NEED TO CARRY ON A MOVE. YOU'RE SAVING MONEYYYYY

<PhantomCatClock> are we talking about the same clock crew

I only knew of the phrase "I shot an arrow into the air" from the twilight zone episode and this post made me go read the poem and it was nice

you always hear about this happening, but i never thought it would happen to me.

Bought a braille e-reader thing off eBay. It was the cheapest one and I assumed it'd be broken (one dot on the entire display doesn't work, and it's one that English Braille doesn't even use, woooo)(it tries to use it in computer mode but I'm using it like a Kindle anyway) but I turned it on, and saw that the SD card was loaded up with stuff already. Sweet!

Folder called BOOKS, hell yeah

Eh, none of these sound interesting. I'll load some better ones on later. What else is on here

Lotta peoples names. Weird.

...Lotta files starting with the word "diary" now

....Lotta files that sound like shopping lists

....................lotta files containing the word "password"

ah fuck. did I just get the hand-me-down from someone who upgraded to a better portable braille display? *I* got it to read books, but yes, looking at this device, it'd be a kickass personal note taker if I was actually blind. Better put this SD card on my disposable laptop

OK GREAT COOL GRAND THE LAST FEW FILES ARE NAMED DIARY - [DISEASE NAME] AND THEY'RE DATED LATE 2019 I GOT A DEAD PERSON'S PASSWORDS AND FRIENDS' PHONE NUMBERS

that solves the moral dilemma of "...do I sift through this crap and try to find this person's contact information, because it sounds like they need this data" with a resounding "holy fuck reformat this and tell blind people that braille is not a secret code and remind people to wipe stuff they sell on ebay"

the end
