Open a flash (in flash mx 2004 pro) from a  site you open

im curious as to how they do it
i know how to find the .swf files name and stuff in the "view source" area of the webpage but i dont know how to actually open one and maybe screw with it (as a joke)

I'm sure there is some software that does that if you have the webpage the .swf file is hosted on, but taking someones work without asking sucks monkey balls.

You can import .swf files into flash, but the outcome won't be structured and optimized like the original fla version - it will be a frame by frame type thing, with no tweening, and I don't think the sound is saved either.
 
You can also get programs like Sothink SWF Decompiler, which allow you to export individual parts of SWF files (like sound, graphics, bitmaps, frames, actionscript.. everything).
