I'm not dead, my dad's dead, who have you been talking to?

BA yes, MA working on it.

I only ever played the full version of Diablo 2 you jerk. I played the Soldier of Fortune 2 multiplayer demo endlessly, which sounds lamer than it actually was. The controls were way better than the actual game, there was a pretty big community of mostly Dutch players (go figure) and we modded the shit out of it.

How goes it?

So two weeks later i remember i never responded. Cause that's the kind of guy i am.

I'm doing well! Still working at the club and moving up the ladder slowly but steadily. We're in 5th place so that's ok i guess.
Other than that i try to travel when the job let's me, just got back from Paris and Prague. Still haven't finished my BA as was expected. My girlfriend moved in with me couple of months ago, going well so far. Mostly i just play videogames and watch shows/movies though, like god intended.

Also you should watch this; http://dewerelddraaitdoor.vara.nl/media/337645 and then go here; http://www.vpro.nl/rembo-en-rembo

Let's meet up some time and grab a beer, who knows you might end up falling asleep in the middle of the day on a busy cafe square.

btw happy belated birthday!

One week later: hehe. Cool. I had two of my wisdom teeth pulled out this week. I did see that and did go there later that evening and watched a shitload of clips while getting drunk, it was fun. We should definitely grab a beer sometime, call me, I have one class a week so yeah... Looking forward to reading your reply sometime in May.

I didn't want to make a big thing out of hanging myself in the shower.

I didn't finish my thesis yet. I got an extension and have till the end of this school year. I wrote the first (and so far only) page the other day. The reason for all this dilly-dallying, besides being a lazy ass, is that I'll have to leave my student apartment almost immediately after graduation. I like it here: it's terribly out of the way, dirty and cold. The last time I checked in I had no income and was close to bankruptcy, so I got a job in a warehouse. Hard work for low pay, that sorta thing. A house huh? Mr. Homeowner. Cool.

I know what you mean, my motivation plummeted when i realized nothing is going to change for me if i ever finish. I already have to pay back (which i already did in order to get a mortgage) all of my student loans + fines and shit because i took to long. I already have a job with adequate pay and it's fun. So it just seems like a lot of work for no real benefit on the short run. Sure I'll probably need it if i ever change jobs so I'm going to finish is eventually. Is your apartment in Nijmegen?  I'm in the progress of buying a house, signed all the stuff and the bank took about two months to go trough their bureaucratic bullshit but my loan got approved eventually, don't get the key till April 1st though. So now my weekends, when I'm not working, are basically a living hell where i stroll from one furniture store to another and i suddenly have to have an opinion on kinds of fabric and color schemes.

Didn't you used to work in a warehouse as well? With that friend of yours, you know the one who ate Kebab smothered in garlic sauce BEFORE going to a bar? The one who was cool with you flicking a burning cigarette against his shirt. Although his behavior might have been linked to the copious amounts of cocaine he did.

Did you watch the X-files? I recorded it going to watch it tonight. I'm also playing Fallout 4, but it's a bit boring to be honest, i preferred the Witcher 3.

1. aha, i see.
2. ok, cool.

say, is fallout better/worse than fallout 3, and if so, what games should i play?
(i like action games, platformers, RTS, and various stuff for the PC/PS3.)

oh, and the witcher game is good, huh? thats interesting.
should i also get the other 2 previous games, or is 3 the best/most enjoyable game of the series?

also, the new X-files season is OK. always enjoyable.
(even tho i prefer the old ones, for some strange reason).

Student loans and mortgages were on the news the other day. I think the advice was something along the lines of "just don't tell the bank you have a student loan". Anyways, those weekends sound like a lot of fun. Welcome to proper adulthood I guess, being forced to care about shit that doesn't matter. Next stop: worrying about coffee rings on your coffee table.

The X-Files, yes, I'm currently geared up to watch episode three. I don't have an overall opinion of the new series yet, but there's been a bunch of stuff that's been bugging me. Such as: why is Jeff Winger there? And I don't mean that in a pseudo-clever "ha ha I replaced the characters name" kind of way, but in a serious "I can't see that dude as anyone but Jeff Winger" and it is very off-putting. Hopefully in episode six it is revealed that this has all been some elaborate X-Files roleplaying session Jeff had in the dreamatorium.  That scene with the conspiracy exposition-fest was just awful. Some things make no sense: Mulder ditching all his beliefs because of a single word in a five minute conversation with someone he barely knows. Weird passage of time: 1.) A UFO crashes at Roswell 2.) The proper authorities catch wind. 3.) The right men are contacted, gathered and taken to the crash site by bus. 4.) Now it's night. People everywhere, doing important science stuff around the saucer. Soldiers running around. Hey look, a trail of blood, let's follow it. Wow, it's a wounded alien crawling around! Still? Or did he just now get out without anyone noticing? Also the glaring use of buzzwords. Google! Uber! Edward Snowden! Obamacare! I get it, it's 2016 and these are things that exist. Episode three is about werewolves I think, so I'm hoping for a Twilight reference. What else? I come to this thread by typing "The Clock Crew Attention GreyClock thread on the internet forum BBS" into Google. Every single time. I don't remember the URL, I don't bookmark and there's no history. What was the point of showing that? Twice. Grandma Scully the hot shot doctor who doesn't know the most basic functions of the internet. Episode two was a lot better though. But there's the main problem I've always had with the X-Files and the whole mythology vs. monster-of-the-week format. "Holy shit, Scully! The world is being controlled by some sort of human-alien hybrid syndicate conspiracy shadow government communist gangster god!" Next episode: "Fuck that shit. Let's investigate Bigfoot, Scully!" It's jarring. I'm going to stop now, bye.

P.S. Always Sunny is still going strong.

P.P.S. I'm putting money on the Twilight reference being something along the lines of Mulder saying to the werewolf dude: "It's cool, I'm team Jacob." I'm going to find out right now.

P.P.P.S. Ha ha wow.

sweet bread, that grey-clock post was enjoyable!

1. i hope that you will pay off the student loan quickly and efficiently.
2. is this true, the thing about your friend who ''ate Kebab smothered in garlic sauce before going to a bar, and he was also pretty cool with you flicking a burning cigarette against his shirt... (due to him being stoned, obviously, otherwise he is a saint)
3. i enjoyed your X-files analysis VERY much, grey. you should review series/movies/stuff/pop-culture more often.
4. i know that now you are a responsible adult, but can you do some clock movies in the future?
i love your ''grey-clock'' styled movie, they are unique and very awesome, i mean... they are a unique category of their own!
noone can do a random movie so funny like your stuff, grey!

and the only person who was your diciple, asshat-clock, has been missing for the last 4 years, after he went on a crusade, searching for a rare cheese on a mountain.

5. stay great, grey clock. the legendarium continues.

Yeah. One night I went to a bar with some friends. After that me and Pirate went out and met this other friend of mine who was stuffing his face with kebab and garlic and grease. We were talking outside the shop and I was already drunk and I flicked my cigarette against his shirt for no apparent reason. It was pretty funny. I'm funny.

I haven't seen anything from "Always Sunny" yet this season. I did binge watch 6 seasons of Modern Family because i thought Phil was pretty funny.
Also during the holidays i watched two seasons of Dusk till Dawn, it's so campy and bad but i couldn't stop watching.

Yes it is. If you liked Seinfeld, you'll probably like Curb Your Enthusiasm. The show stars Larry David as himself, who co-created Seinfeld with Seinfeld and who is basically George. I referenced him because of that joke in the X-Files episode where the "monster" goes through the drive-thru and when he's told he has to be in a car to order he asks: "Why?" That's literally a scene from CYE. Both Seinfeld and CYE deal with the everyday banalities of life in Western society (the U.S.), but the main difference is the moment of confrontation. For example, Seinfeld has to wear the puffy shirt. At first there's a hilarious misunderstanding, then there's the bulk of the episode which shows Seinfeld discussing the problem with everyone except the designer. There might ultimately be a confrontation with the designer, but that's often the punchline for the entire episode. In CYE Larry David would tell the designer flat out: "Your shirt's just terrible and I'm not going to wear it." That would be the starting off point for an episode, which would then deal with the consequences of saying something like that and in doing so often questions so-called "normal" or accepted social behavior/conventions. Uh, okay. Goodbye.
