I couldn't have picked a favorite Clock Day movie but this was definitely one of the funniest and stylish ones.

In an ideal world, all Clock movies would be voiced by Krak.

Quote from: BluezombieClock;1846013That's pretty much where it just gets worse. I tried contacting Tom as well, but I just never got a reply. Can't blame the poor guy though, cause everyone who got shit on by Wade ( probably all of us at least once ) turns to Tom hoping for further assistance.

We need to get Tom a new brother.

Get me Tom's mom's phone number, I'ma get on this.

Quote from: RobClock;1845747Who uploaded that?

RomanCollarClock, a religious guy who at one point got shipped off to Iraq, I think. He checked in at least once after that. Nice guy, I have no idea why he had his account deleted (I assume he requested that because I can't believe he did something to get punished with it).

Quote from: Slurpee;1843790I look forward to our perception of time decompressing further as we continue to linger like a stale fart, until it's just one joyous chaotic memory.

I vividly remember when our archenemy butcer stole the account of biologicalclock (the king of the portal) and had billiardball10clock delete the bbs.

Quote from: GreyClock;1843504Near the end, didn't he like ask everyone to sign over the rights to our characters to him?

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten that. I think he wanted everyone who wanted their character used in merchandise to sign a waiver giving up their creative rights to the character, or something. that didn't go over well.

Quote from: Uncle Toni;1843535Had sort of a "last king of scotland" feel to it.

I never thought of it like that, but yeah, chatting with Bit was a lot like talking to Idi Amin.

Trying to run the CC kind of broke his mind, though it probably wasn't very sturdy to begin with. I think Laura was just his girlfriend but through repetition of jokes people started referring to her as his wife.

I still have an MP3 of some overproduced speech he recorded after he was puked out by the CC but have actually never listened to it beyond the first two seconds.

What I remember of it:

Shortly before Clock Day 2005, control over clockcrew.net passes from Magic to Bit who is some new guy? I think Bit had been an NG member for longer but he still kind of came out of nowhere. Providing hosting and a nifty radio service, plus with everyone being super positive around Clock Day, Bit is initially embraced.

Time passes. Bit distributes mod powers as he sees fit, which as Corpsey mentions doesn't sit right with the senior members. Bit tries to ignore insults and sounds of dissent but is starting to cry inside because his ego isn't internetproof.

Bit wants to build and expand the CC site into a media hub to rival and beat that of Newgrounds. Constant radio broadcasting, selling t-shirts, stickers, possibly cartoons on DVD. Problem 1, Bit himself lacks the technical know-how or artistic skills to push this. Problem 2, people think he wants too much too fast and plans to line his own pockets with the profits, plus turn the CC into another indistinguishable pile of internet poop like Ebaums or Fark. Bit sheds more inside tears but we're starting to feel the drops.

Popular members get banned for things that would be laughed off by others. Bit makes a big issue of underage bbs members, citing personal responsibility as owner of the server, after Blackmagic and some other guy make some risqué jokes at some young clock. They get banned. People cry havoc. They get unbanned. Bit intends to ban all members under 16 or so but relents after everyone disagrees about this (also, there's some 13 year old girl or something making pretty good Flash who people don't want banned). Bit silently pouts to himself.

Getting no respect, Bit defaces the bbs a few times - switching the color scheme to bright clashing colors and embedding screeching noise, claiming "this is my anger". Eventually Bit agrees to leave us alone if other members foot the bill for the server. Only problem is, Bit doesn't leave us alone. He keeps popping in with his admin powers to ban people he wants and fuck around. Payments for the server are missed and as a response, Bit blocks off the site.

We move to a temporary second site. People discuss in great detail what a cock Bit is and because he was unsmart enough to mention his wife a few times (by name), people insult her as well. Bit assumably reads some of this and puts up extensive messages about how much the CC hurt his feelings. Eventually we return to cc.net but it seems like Bit has taken up the reins of the Clock Crew once again, for god knows what reason. This can't go right and it doesn't. Claiming someone called up his house to insult his wife again, Bit shuts off the site for good. He puts up a few more messages about how much he hates the CC and finally lets it go as we move beyond his grasp!

So that's basically what happened between Clock Days 05-06.

I didn't realize it at first but it's seamlessly sketched high res textures on 3D models, rather than conventional animation. I adore the style in this, and could think of many movies that would benefit from this style (like comic book adaptations).

One BigRed2006 just messaged me on NG and asked where Knottsberry's clockcrew.info ever went.

I miss seeing those lost movies.

BB10 once ran in circles for two minutes straight and then crashed into the wall so hard the doctors had to give him the nose of a Korean man who was executed for dreaming that Kim Jong Il was not awesome.

I'd just like to say I'm going through the Clock Day '11 collection page now and its representation of the quality of submissions of the day is fantastic. So great job on putting that together!
