I can't believe nobody posted this song yet, or any song from Battletoads for that matter.

As much as I like that album, White Light/White Heat and their self titled album (without Nico) are The Velvet Underground's better albums.  Loaded is worth checking out as well.

Rated R.  However, if you're lucky enough to find their self-titled debut, get that first.

I like both Good News for People who Love Bad News and We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, but This is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About and Lonesome Crowded West make those albums sound like crap.  But to each his own.

Entertainment / worst thing to happen to music?

Quote from: Pin Clock;1423294.....I only said that because whenever my sister drives the car she blasts the dingen (the ones about guns, sex, a desire for material objects like money) and it hurts my ears very badly.

My dumb blonde 23 year old sister (who only listens to the top 40 stations) does the same damn thing, especially when Lil Wayne's "Lick me like a lollipop or whatever the hell the title of this shitty song is" or something similar comes on.  Except she also trys to dance while she looks at me and grins at me while mouthing the lyrics, knowing that she's annoying me.  Also, whenever I'm the driving, she'll bitch and moan, and continue to do so if I don't change it to her favorite top 40 pop station because she has this logic that "if the music ISN'T on the top 40 or MTV, the music automatically sucks and the artists who make that music are complete nobodies."

Since I can hardly stand Daron's singing, I am hesitant about getting this album.  I have only heard "They Say" (not bad, but not good either) and "Chemicals" (Daron's singing at it's pure abyss) so far though.

These and.....

unresponsive/slow controls, when it's completely impossible to avoid projectiles that give you damage (especially when your chracter suffers from the one-hit syndrome), shitty camera angles, and when your chacter moves like he/she is on ice (when not on any "ice" level), when enemies gang-up on you and corner you until you die, that's all I can think of right now.

Entertainment / Warped Tour
July 14, 2008, 05:59:57 PM
The only bands currently on the warped tour that are at least decent to good are Agent Orange (who are only playing August 15th and 16th), Matisyahu (not anymore), and Pennywise, that's about it.

And yes, it would be best to avoid the Warped Tour like the plague.
