Pretty, even in black and white.
Really nice to see you around here again ZL.
Zombie Lincoln will always be our godfather.
You have a brilliant mind. And that worries me/
I like how you stick to B&W. That's how i do mine.

Those are the ones that I'm proudest of, though. The rest are all experiments.
And good to see you fellows as well! We need to get some sort of Academy happening, for serious.

These are beautiful in every way possible.
They are so amazing.
You should make these into a webcomic, they're very entertaining.
Haha, that first one is gold. This would make a good webcomic btw. It's also good to hear you're back. I've heard wonderfull things from everyone about you, and saw your art. Flash Acad Get!
Inspector Gadget?
I love that little fly. :(
Those are beautiful :o
We need some flash academy.
Those are magnificent.

Man. You guys are way better than the comics editor of my university newspaper, who has been very reluctant to put these in, has been skipping ones he doesn't understand. Although, I'm not sure I could explain why I like some of them.

That second one you posted with the fly made me feel really happy. I also love fall more than any other season.
The "confused again" one made me chuckle for like 3 minutes and I really don't even know why.
Probably because I imagined myself having an inner conversation to that extent.

I had the same response to the Tackling one.
I enjoyed every one. Even the one without an end was funny in it's emptiness. The fly reminds me of The Stranger for some reason...
When do I get to see more of that uber detail work that puts me to shame?

I really, really WANT to like that Caterpillar. I always imagine the caterpillar being stupidly mean and insulting to the fly, but the fly is too kind and good-willed to understand that, which makes the Caterpillar less hostile.

More people need to read your comics.
What we need is for Mr. Pillar to show his soft side. After all, he IS letting fly be, he's even walking around with him. He just wants some love.
Brilliant stuff. Glad to see them.
You should really put these up in a series or something because really I count them as a webcomic for me and so far they're my favourite.
You should make a book.

And so ended the journey of the once-famous pirate Raphael Semmes. He had fallen afoul of the sea one night, and, washing up on a deserted island, had little to do but signal for help. But 'twas in vain. After becoming delirious, his compulsions to be at his former home amongst the waves overtook his processes, and he made his final voyage into the sunset with not a single provision on board his makeshift vessel.

Forcing contentedness, and that fear of college for failing and wasting other people's money, people who trusted you, those two I could relate to the most. I'm managing to keep a tenuous balance with keeping myself constantly positive while still trying to improve myself though, I'm doing much better than I was before. I really hope you publish something one day. I think you should print out some of your comics and place them in random places at a college with a link to your website.

Quote from: Jill;1518779The fly reminds me of a certain goat in the last two panels.
I don't know what goat you're talking about?
I guess you'll just have to find out then!
I prefer to think of the fly as an it.

How are these little stick people so emotionally powerful?
Quote from: Buttplug :V;1592904How are these little stick people so emotionally powerful?
Zombie Lincoln sold his soul to an interdimensional imp from the fifth dimension. In return he recieved three things
-Artistic Talent
-The ability to express feelings through paper
-A sequel to Who Framed Roger Rabbit, however nobody but him can watch it

i want to give zombielincoln a hug, partially because i just really need a hug.
i like these, they communicate a bleak sincerity of some sort
If I ever come into ownership of a large publishing company I will make a gigantic hardcover book containing all of ZL's work.

Hey ZL are these comics coming from ideas you get from doing things or is it the kind of ideas you get while you sit in your room at 3am in the middle of the night walking in circles??? (or do most people not do things? I don't know)
Sometimes I draw the fly and get an idea from his expression
or just I have an idea for one panel and once I draw it it gives me an idea for a second
The longer form (http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/5296/page5fi7.jpg) fly comics represent the most idea-hunting and planning ahead - generally this other stuff is made out of hat.
