They keep making more and more movies, trying to make it more accessible, and while doing this diluting it and taking away all the things that set it apart. I see it becoming just another shitty anime full of "WoAh awkward teenage moment!!1" and "KAWAIIIIII". Imo the action did not need to be improved upon. Evangelion should be what it is, take it or leave it.
