If the person that's slicing is the same as the one holding earth, the thumb is on the wrong side. Unless you cut like this:

Regardless it's too small. In fact all the fingers are a bit strange. Especially the one popping up from behind the earth.

Other than that it's neat. Try sketching a bunch of hands.
