running out of arena gold pretty quickly
I used to be able to nearly break even but I seem to have gotten much worse since the new expansion
I am so intensely jealous of people who ever could make a profit in the arena. I'd watch Kripparrian/other YouTube arena tutorials, use tier lists, get my spells/minions and mana distributions down just right, HIT THE PERFECT CURVE AND
still go like 3-3
I just can't get arena. I'm trapped on Constructed and in fact I've just started spending my gold on card packs, now, for the last 1000g or so.

This week's brawl is so good for doing dailies. I've only been doing it for quests, and I'm at like 16 wins. I don't think I've ever played a brawl this much, except to try to beat Kel'Thuzad

Paladin and warrior are great if you get an assload of weapons, or paladin's three super good class cards
well, im usually a mage, because that was my starting class (plus the sexy lady), but im also playing as a paladin, since this is my favorite class: you are a swordsman, AND you can heal yourself as well... excellent!
Paladin just got a semi-dank sounding heal card (http://www.hearthhead.com/card=39439/ivory-knight) in this week's wing of Karazhan. I'm not sure how competitive the card will actually turn out to be. Gonna have to wait and see it on ladder a bit. I'm pretty excited to see a Discover card kind of nudging someone to picking a spell that might cost more than one that'd really want, but then again there are some pretty insane synergies (http://www.hearthhead.com/card=594/lay-on-hands) I can imagine.
Oh, but taking a step back to constructed play: the new expansion is one of those single-player campaigns and the first part is free. You get two great, if not exciting, cards from it.

The Old God's expansion just kinda killed it for me. Too much RNG bullshit for me to handle.

The new one has a its fair share of RNG, but it's weirdly balanced in a way I'm too dumb to explain, just feels alright. I think now's a great time to get into HS, especially if you have an old card collection, not because the meta decks are any less bullshit but because there's a lot more diversity and different deck archetypes you can make that actually kinda work

New expac dropped last week. On one hand everything seems super well balanced this time around, on the other that means there was no one legendary (rarest) card that looked so strong/fun that I just HAD TO CRAFT IT. There's a new single player mode (that's actually new this time) and, to copypaste something I've said to someone else:
If the last time you played Hearthstone was Naxxramas or vanilla, you can get the full current experience at no cost in the dungeon run mode with no pressure and no consequences
and also no reward, but it really is how I've played like 95% of my time this expansion
and that's not an exaggeration. If anything it's too low. I've played like four games on ladder and well over fifty in dungeon run. You don't use YOUR cards and it's (semi) curated so you really can get every kind of meta in your run

The dungeon run mode has been great. I've been playing it too much.
I cleared three classes and almost cleared priest with an insane deck but despite having three C'thuns for 5mana each in my hand and board advantage, I Reverse Mr. Magooed my way to a loss against the final boss. It was like low roll after low roll after low roll and humbug.
Important update: the card that just randomly casts pyroblasts until someone dies (exclusive to single player dungeon runs, still pretty rare) has a colloquial name: Oprah's Pyroblast.
