ok reboot actually owns. the "people" characters' faces look bad in a scary way but that's my only complaint about the cgi, the rest honestly feels like more of a style than a shortfall.
the references are slightly dated they just did a whole ass power rangers/voltron/venom thing. actually those three things have never really gone away I guess but I haven't really kept up with the newer versions enough to know if the references feel dated or if that's just still what power rangers is like
