Not to (humble) brag or anything, but who the hell is watching my flash movies? They hardly get any votes and reviews, but the views are always through the roof (currently 971). At least compared to the other submissions. It was the most viewed flash movie submitted on clock day (second if you include some sex game). Poop's daily first only has about half the views. Strawberry's has about 500 views, Radiotube's 450, and they're on the frontpage. Are viewers refreshing the page because I never include a replay button? Or are they unique views? If so, who are these people? Where do they come from? Do I have a hidden fan base in Latvia or something?
well, yours was probably one of the weirder submissions of the day, if you don't mind me saying

iirc a lot of the old wtfnoob output like lobster pencil got views seemingly disproportionate to the attention they received by traditional measurements, and I suspected this was because "experimental" animations pique people's curiosity, and get a lot of low-key shares from people showing them to close friends to ask them what their take is or w/e

Never underestimate the power of the anime thumbnail?

My most viewed entry is a Clock Day 2014 movie/game called Frozen Hentai xXx. 268,000 views. But that was a deliberate attention grab.

I have a 2011 movie called A Flounderman Day Movie with almost 77,000 views. And I have no fucking idea why.

PhantomCatClock

I remember someone finding that on a real porn site because apparently the curators didn't watch more than a minute into it

With Clock Day happening I haven’t really dropped a livejournal update on you boys in a bit so here goes- last Friday/Saturday I went to Blacktop Ball, a music fest down on the mainland. It’s put on every year by a band from NS that I love to death called the Stanfields. Two nights on a gorgeous beach with a 60oz bottle of spiced rum, I had the time of my life. Got to meet the lead guitarist for the band and he was cool as fuck. The boys all signed my copy of their third album, the one I discovered the band with, and I was front row for their set both nights.
Here’s a few photos from that. I didn’t take many because I didn’t want to be that guy.

And the other recent endeavour; I bought a camper! For $100! It’s in rough shape, obviously, but I’ve got a small piece of land out in the country with a run down mobile home on it, that I had been gutting about a year and a half ago, so I fully intend to rip everything I need to fix the camper out of there. Once I’m done with that, I’ll get the old place hauled out and park the camper in, set up a little outhouse or whatever, and bing bang boom you’ve got yourself a redneck paradise!
heres some pictures of that. consider these the ‘before’ shots.

Yeah... It would be interesting to be able to find out more about that, see some statistics on your submissions or whatever... but it's only 2018 and that type of functionality... I don't know.

I submitted a movie for that and it also has almost 77k views. I guess Flounderman is very popular.

Cool caravan, mobile home and place Rob. Can I live there?

Anyone watch Disenchantment yet?

I enjoyed it, although there were some slight pacing issues in the more action oriented sequences. Solid jokes and visual gags throughout but it really lacks the bite of Life in Hell/Early Simpsons/Futurama. I suppose that's an inevitable side effect of Groening being old as fuck at this point.

PhantomCatClock

Oh shit, I didn't even know there was a new Groening cartoon. Definitely gonna watch it, but I'm worried about how accurate that last thing you said is. I see no reason to doubt it

clamclock

If you watch too much groening,
You will end up being boring

RobClock

That’s not how you pronounce Groening

it's weird that physical textbooks cost so much when you can get the ebook versions for free by searching for their name plus pdf free
