You're good, props on the coheed cover too it sounds cool. needs a vocalist though! how long has your guitarist been playing for? he's really good for 14, at least i don't know any 14 year olds that good.
Only thing i'd suggest aside from not having a vocalist (which i'm sure you're working on) is choosing a direction to go in and go there, it's all good having really wide influences but within an already saturated genre it's better to specialise, i think.
From what i can tell you're going in a sort of killswitch/as i lay dying metalcorey direction? stick with it cause it sounds cool, i like the big big guitar solos too. what sort of vocals are you planning on employing?

No clue really on the Vocals.  We just want someone who can do clean singing and screaming.
