So, apparently in the 5th year of med school you get like extra super cool points when choosing a hospital to work and study if you know 3 different languages, I only know 2 and i'm going to start my3rd year, I've always wanted to learn italian but let's face it: I'm never gonna use it, therefore, I come to you my dear clocks to ask: what would be the best language to learn?
A lot of people say I should learn chinese mandarin because of the growing chinese population and it's importance in the medical business, others say I should learn french because there are a lot of great scientists, articles and books that are not translated to english or spanish... I don't know.
Please vote and if you can post your reason of why I should learn that language, thanksssss guyz!

You should learn German! as far as languages go, its pretty easy to learn from English, lots of cognates and such, and its a really neat culture. Also you can sound really sinister when you speak it with a rash tone!

I'm gonna be completely honest and say that Chinese is probably the best language to learn. At least it was in business school. I don't know about hospitals.

Manderin seems like a pretty safe option.
The only time anyone should learn Dutch is when they plan to spend a lot of time/move here. Only like 27 million people (22 native, 5 second language) in the world speak it, so I don't think it will be much use unless you live here.

BUT IT'S COOL ON THE CLOCKCREWI did it for three years in school and found it to be a fairly easy language to learn, however I forgot most of what I did learn so

I began to have Mandarin last semester. Its kinda fun, but maybe more enjoyable as its only 5 people in our class. Also China seems like a real monster of a country, making business there could make you rich as fuck.

Yeah. It happens all the time. In the XV Century, I think, we were theirs for like 60 years, and that made a grudge for years to come. That's gone today though. But it's still annoying when they put us in the same group all the time. :wiebel:
