Who donates to these things?
Like I wish I was rich but I'm not, so who is putting out all that money?!
Wondering what project will happen because of this, believe it or not 1$ million wont get you that far when making games nowdays...
One of the main points of a publisher is that they hold the producer accountable if they fuck up. If Tim just decided to bail with the money, or do like the Duke Nukem Forever producers and just play World of Warcraft all day nobody would be able to do anything.
Then again, the idea of a genius like Schafer producing a game without having to worry about dumbass publishers that only care about their bottom line is exciting. This is the kind of situation where they're going to produce a game they'll love, and when programmers put their heart and souls into their work you get a masterpiece. I can't wait to see the results of this.
This game is pretty much guaranteed to be fucking awesome.
Guess this is happening before Psychonauts 2. Oh well I'm fine with either game coming out first, I'll get both of them when they each eventually come out.
it's almost up to a goddamn million.
I don't understand why people are still giving him money. He already has MORE than enough to make the best possible point and click adventure game. At this point they're just flushing money down the drain.

I can think of worse things to do with money than giving it to Tim Schafer.
Just became not only the fastest grossing Kickstarter project, but, in fact, the largest.
Holla at yo girl.

At this point it's going to be the greatest adventure game ever made, out on every possible platform including damn small linux and atari jaguar, and be in over twenty languages. If it keeps growing at this rate, they should fund an animated series for Grim Fandango.
I think people still give him money because they want in on getting the game asap thor. check the 15 dollar prize thing
what's that? $1mil in less than 24 hours?? sweet sweet money. sweet money. all over my tits and hairy asshole god damn it
He should open up the 10000 and 5000 dollar thing, they're sold out.
Making money by doing nothing woop.
Tim and ron can have all my money if it means an actual witty adventure game minus the shit 3D and awkard controls.
After watching that video there was pretty much no way I wasn't going to pay $30 for the HD documentary downloads.
donated 15 to get in on the beta and private discussion

It was no Grim Fandango but I still thought it was pretty great.
I cant wait for this

:this:
the greatest Tim Schafer game is, of course, Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster. I just hope this new game can live up to it.

I considered getting Kinect for that game. If i can get it

Oh you submitted a location idea (an oragami world, apparently).
I didn't pay much attention to anyone's names in that part. I was more interested in Tim and company's SF chinatown barcrawl. Love to get a few guys together and emulate it.
