Title: (Pop) Punk is Not Dead
Post by: F U Clock on April 22, 2012, 09:43:01 AM
You all may dislike this song due to its fairly poppy nature but what the heck, I just finished it: http://soundcloud.com/dibidoolandas/much-too-much

It's not associated with my band the Color Industry, just kinda had the melody in my head and wanted to get it down.

I like it. Cool riffs and neat solo, good work

Thanks man. I tried to keep the guitar as improvizational as my feeble skills enable me to. :)

Uh off the top of my head I think it was just G#maj. I don't really know "scales" in the like pentatonic soloing sense, I taught myself to play and just do things by ear usually. I usually know what I want to play in my head and have to dink around for a bit to get my fingers to follow suit.
