They should do some kind of study about people who immediately see it one way or another. I definitely saw it as clockwise when it first popped up, but it can get "stuck" going either way in my mind if I force it to.
BTW the study will show that people who see it going clockwise first are smarter and better-looking.

It's not too hard, you just have to imagine the leg going either in front of or behind the other during the turn and the direction will change depending on what you pick.

Actually now that I focus on the spinning leg a bit more, it kinda looks off when I try to imagine it going counterclockwise. Like, I can imagine the motion starting, but when I look at it it kinda wobbles. Like the leg gets smaller than you would think it should if you're imagining it passing in front of the dancer.
