Clock Crew

This is the Secret Santa Sign-Ups!

So this is a fairly simple event, my friends!

It's a flash making event for Clockmas in the form of gift giving! Basically, if we can get a large enough group for participation we can really get this going; Never participated in a Secret Santa before? No worries, I'll explain.

So when I get a big enough list of participants what I'll do is put everyone's alias on slips of paper in a hat and randomly select from this pool until everyone has a name of someone (who isn't themselves) to give a gift to. The gifts in question will be in the form of Flash that stars the person to whom you will be giving the Secret Santa to. Other than that, there are no requirements for size of flash or anything!

These will be due Dec. 23rd!

I would like to see at least 6 participants, but the more the Merrier! Sign-ups will close in a week.

Pez has helped by making an account that all participants will have access to to submit their secret santa parts anonymously on the deadline. Send the flash to me and I will upload it through the account. We'll co-author you for your flash when Christmas is over!

Once the Secret Santa's are over with you can simply access the CCSS account and co-author yourself, but not till after Christmas! You have to give your gift-taker time to try and guess who made him/her the flash.

If he's not an official member of the forums then he can't participate, that should be fairly obvious. The whole point of being a member of the Clock Crew is that it is a Crew, a community, in which people interact and grow on interaction. You can't be a member of a community while isolating yourself from the community, it's not conducive to either the individual or the entire concept of community.

EDIT: Not to mention he should be making his formal announcement of participation himself, in this very thread.

I'll submit some more if I can, I dunno the restrictions for flash per day on newgrounds, sorry I didn't look ahead to that. I am sorry for all the confusion, but it seems you guys were able to handle *most/some* of it.

The initial thoughts are to make it a collaborationy deal. That way we won't have to worry about the two flash limit. I think the menu screen could look like a christmas tree with gifts underneath it and each part could say "To: *soandso*", etc.

Once again I am sorry for all the mix up and everything, this is entirely my fault. But everyone else did a great job!

Also, it is okay at this point to submit the flash to newgrounds yourself, seeing as my lack of foresight has somewhat ruined christmas for you guys! Like Pop said, we'll do this better next year.

Thank you, but this was seriously my fault. Shoulda planned it out better, shoulda let everyone know I was gonna be gone over the weekend, just all around disorganization on my part. Not pure disorganization, but not flawless which is what I aim for.

My only excuse is this is my first rodeo organizing one of these things. I'm gonna think of another event for no reason, we'll make it a collab this time. I'll have something soon.
