Title: There is something wrong with this extremely important file
Post by: WobbuffetClock on January 01, 2013, 11:06:53 PM
A week or two ago, I was working on this flash thing and it crashed. Now when I try to open the file it says there is an error and it won't open. Is there any way to fix this? Here is the file also.

Once a file is corrupted due to an expected shutdown... I think you're SOL. If it was a "week or two ago" there won't even be any remnants in the tmp folders anymore to search for. :(

If you have a swf version of it (from a mid-progress publish/test) you can use a de-compiler like SoThink to create a fla.. better than starting over, I'm sure.

Crazy as this sounds, can you upload a blank FLA made in your same Flash and one with what you're trying to get (a movie clip / script)?

(but I hope it isn't a script because there isn't any in this file)
