e: ALL SPOTS ARE FILLED, BUT STILL ACCEPTING RESERVES

We're a little behind this year on making a big cool collab for Clockday so I'm just gonna take point and start this up.

Call your part and flash version. Preferably we'd have stronger artists starting and finishing. We also have spots for Credits and Compiler. Compiler is very very important, so if you think you're up for it you'll be the MVP of the collab by default.

RULES:

1) Keep your movie in a movie clip.
2) At the first frame of your movie add the following to the frame: _root.stop();
3) At the last frame of your movie add this: _root.play();
4) Make sure you rename all your symbols. Add your name (ex. STRAWBERRY_chair) to your symbol to keep things clean. Also put all the symbols you make in a folder with your name on it.
5) Keep your movie between 30 seconds to 1:30. No exceptions.
6) SET ALL SOUNDS TO STREAM. SERIOUSLY. LEAVING IT AS EVENT WILL HAVE REALLY BAD CONSEQUENCES FOR YOU
7) Use your time wisely.
8) If you are going to drop out, do it before your part is up.

If you use AS for whatever reason, make sure it's AS2. Also try to stay away from using an AS camera.
If you're using a CS version, when creating the file, make sure it's AS2 compatible link.
Post what version of flash you submitted it as when you're done.
If you're using a specialized font, break it down (ctrl+b).

If this is due today I'll throw the FLA in, if not I'll go back and make the timings less shitty/fix little things. And PLEASE remember to name all your movie clips and thinks properly (IE add your clockname to all your objects). If your FLA is just "symbol 1 symbol 2" etc you're getting the ban stick up your ass.

I should have said 301 views. Youtubers know this as the magic number new videos often got stuck on due to a coding goof. And it would have been funny haha self loathing irony satire something something that we thought 301 views was an accomplishment.

Hello all, I have recently got a program that can let me compile .swf files (yes including ones made from different flash versions) and turn it into an .fla that works in the flash program I use.

So yeah, I can compile!
(just make sure the menu is made in flash 8.)

Hola it's me. Yeah, sorry I haven't given anything yet guys, that whole life thing happened all of a sudden.
I'ma have access to my computer again for a couple hours before I don't again (and have to start working on a graphic design gig I got). If I'm not already out of the collab, I'll put together what I can and send in what I have of that and you guys can start from the end of that.

Hey, so shit's not done but I put in a hell of a lot of work last night. I have up to the part where Mrs. Brady shoots me and I bump into her car.
There is also no sound yet, and as such the timing on everything isn't set.

The good news is that there's just the fight scene left, which is very short and I can definitely finish animating that over the course of tonight and tomorrow morning.

So, there's what you got so far.  I'm sorry it's been taking so long, but all this getting a job and taking trains from here to there has been taking a lot out of me (so was trying to animate a flash immediately coming off of an insane semester of school).'

SO

The part isn't done, but it easily will be over the course of the next few days. Patriot I leave the choice up to you, the options I can think of are

A.) Cut my part out because it's not finished and start the next part where my part started out.
B.) Cut my part up to where I have it finished, and not let me animate the (hopefully) kick ass short fight scene that is about to ensue.
C.) Let me finish my part and then when it's done a day or two from now have the next part start
D.) Start the next part already while I finish my part in the meantime so we don't lose any more time on this collab, trusting that I will in fact finish my part during this week.

Obviously I'm in favor of option D, you all have the storyboard so you know exactly where my part leaves off.
I understand that I must have some cajones to be asking you to make this special exception for me, and I normally would never be asking this, but I want to make a great part for this collaboration and I know that I can given the time, and I absolutely would have had this shit done sooner if I didn't have a whole shitload of things happen to me during and after graduation

Again, I'm sorry I held this shit up for as long as I did, I never had any intention to drag on like this. When all is said and done you can still ban my punk ass for however long.

EDITT: I'm also not sure what's up with that frame where the background disappears when they're driving the car but I'm gonna fix it somehow (it appears to be happening purely out of flash being a terrible program)

Hey, just a heads up but my part's almost done. It's got the music, sound effects, and just about every shot finished.  Only things left to add are the one Brady car crashing, and the reverse angle of the other one getting shot up and also crashing.  I also need to get the voices in there, fix up the timing around the voices, and then you guys will have your part.

Sorry it's been so slow going.  I'll upload the .swf of what it's looking like so far once the Newgrounds upload things stops being a dick and actually starts working (none of the files are showing up for me to upload)

Taking the outta sync sound files off the main timeline and inserting them into clips sometimes helps. I'll mess with it for ya.. since I know you got work today..

I've actually had a lot of sync issues before, and though it goes against all conventional wisdom and logic, try putting all of the sound on event instead of stream. It usually fixes it for me. Now that may not help you in the long run of this collab, but it's worth a shot to test it out.

Inserted them into movie clips.

When they're on the main timeline.. sometimes F8 prematurely ejaculates if the graphics are memory intensive.. streamin inside symbols prevent this (dunno why)

I'll give up doing credits in the name of getting more folks involved. For whoever ends up doing credits, songs I used are Bag's Groove (Part 2) by Miles Davis and Danger of Death by 7 Seconds of Love. I used to have Figaro, the instrumental version, from MF Doom but I took that out.

That's what I like to see. Really all you have to do is add your clockname to all your symbols and you've saved me a lot of trouble.

In case anyone isnt aware, you cant have two different symbols (movie clips, graphics, buttons, tweens, etc) with the same name, so when everybody just leaves their shit as the default names like tween 1 and symbol 1 that makes compiling a collab very very difficult.

How much do you have done atm? My main concern is that with you, cheesesteak, sbc, english, and FU everyone else wont get enough time to finish their parts for a clock day release

-the ending itself is good, but how about when bb10 rolls out, and radiotube is angry, and saying ''yeah yea, go away'', instead of ending it there, to make suddenly bb10 roll back into the scene, along with bill murray, nicolas cage (aka homogang815), and the wolverine, and they all say, ''surprise radiotube, happy clock day!''
just throwing my two cents here.

also, the voice-acting in this was excellent. your voice, right?!
