fund it pls
Adding furry to the minor comparisons to bb10 list
actually, no, i just wanted the costume so i can practice playing chuck e at the CEC restaurant as a job
and wanting to get a job gets half the list erased. Good on ye, lad.
so, will you fund a few 25 dollars to this feller?
of all the things that aren't going to happen, that is going to happen the least.
i'm sure someone else would like to help a brotha
fundraising tips:
"give me some no strings attached money to buy some stupid bullshit" is not a very effective pitch
even people who are raising money to produce something people might actually want offer donation incentives to potential donors who might be asking, "but what's in it for me?"
when I am trying to think of ways to spend my millions, the first thing to come to my mind is usually "jawbreakers," then "put food on my table," then "humanitarian relief" is a couple lines down from "solid gold golf cart for my chihuahua," but "fund dear, close friend jambaclock's efforts to buy a costume guaranteed to incite legal action the second it's worn in public" is pretty far down the list
given the probable outcome of unauthorized public use of chuck e cheese's image, I can only infer you are attempting to purchase this fursuit for private use. what you do in the bedroom is none of my business but I respectfully decline to finance it
donation incentives are a good idea for anyone whose quality of life is sufficient that they're raising money for stupid bullshit instead of, say, medical expenses to stay alive, but literally I know of someone who died trying to crowdfund some insulin for himself. probably because he didn't have tote bags to offer people
To be fair, there were incentives in his original thread
Also, practicing for the world's easiest minimum wage job is a pretty flimsy excuse. We all know what you're really going to do with it.
i am 16 years old and i'm not ready for these sexual acts
though i must must admit, you have some nice tips there vcrclock
sorry I'm a bag of dicks
maybe I just think $2000 is kind of steep for a chuck e cheese costume, like if it was way cheaper I'd probably be like "lol go for it" and not even talk about legal threats and shit. there are definitely cheaper shenanigans to be had
the above tirade about raising money for stupid bullshit comes from someone who once convinced a bunch of friends to chip in to buy a mutual friend 10 vhs copies of "how stella got her groove back" ($0.01 each on amazon) for their birthday
well there's this:

still, what do yuo prefer? $1000 dollars for a head with no teeth or $2000 for an authentic sports outfit?
I want to try bringing the old Chuck E Cheese back, sorta.
Even if I make little kids cry since Chuck E looked like a drunken mess in the early 90's.

"mellon chuck e and the infinite sadness"
Because the single stores have any control over what you're allowed to wear and corporate is going to let you wear an old one right after they made a new mascot
wait a minute HE'S GOING TO GET TWO $500 STEAKS WITH THIS MONEY
FOUR $500 STEAKS, IF I CERTAIN
AND THESE PEOPLE DONT EVEN TAKE CARE OF THE COSTUME

I worked at Six Flags for a bit
It turned out to be less than minimum wage
i worked at a church
it had no wages
and that's terrible
Earlier this year around March when I was doing temp work I got the job of wearing a drop of water costume around the Philadelphia convention center.
Thankfully I was being paid at least $9 an hour, so it being slightly above minimum wage made it at least somewhat okay.
But that shit was hot and sweaty and made my shoulder sore as fuck (it had a fan system to help keep you cool/keep the costume inflated).
But like, that shit gets old fast
Of course the worst part was when the costume battery ran out of juice and I had to essentially run out of the convention center while my costume became insanely hot and sweaty and convention attendees kept making jokes like "I guess you're Flint Michigan's water supply".
Like "Haha those poor people have a water supply that's lethal if they drink it", I guess?
