Where the heck did that design come from anyway? It looks a great deal different to the Robotnik in the games. Did DIC make that design up like how they made Bowser green and call him Koopa? (His JAPANESE name!)
From what I understand though, they based his design off the nes sprite from Super Mario Bros anyway.
That would certainly explain the lack of the redorange hair he actually should've had, but didn't due to limitations of the first game.

Where the heck did that design come from anyway? It looks a great deal different to the Robotnik in the games. Did DIC make that design up like how they made Bowser green and call him Koopa? (His JAPANESE name!)
From what I understand though, they based his design off the nes sprite from Super Mario Bros anyway.
That would certainly explain the lack of the redorange hair he actually should've had, but didn't due to limitations of the first game.

I rarely find myself naming Sonic characters, but when I do I name him Eggman and I follow up by some reference to the Beatle's song.

I call him Eggman or Robotnik depending on the context of the sentence, like what timeline I'm referring to. If I'm talking about anything relating to the earlier games, Robotnik, anything relating to the later games, Eggman. If there's no context I just call him Robotnik

I'd like to say that every portable Sonic game (Advance 1-3, Rush 1-2) are great. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 were fucking awesome, and everything from Heroes was shit.
