I was trying to get to sleep just now but instead came up with this collab idea and wanted to post it. It's piss easy so it should be practically fail-safe.
What I'd like to do here is create a new Clock Crew preloader - but not just a Clock Crew logo or something. This will be a collaborative effort among Clock Crew members to create a hell of a preloader. A preloader so jam-packed with Clock artwork and stuff that the filesize might just defeat the purpose of there being a preloader at all.
Ideally, what's going to happen is there will be a loading bar and a 320x240 "frame." When the Flash movie is 98% loaded, the loading bar will be 98% full and the "frame" will display the image made by the person assigned the number 98. I have yet to create this in Flash; I'll do it later when I'm not supposed to be getting some sleep.
RULES
- Send an e-mail with your Clock name/forum username to VCR AT SOIXANTEDEUX DOT US and REQUEST in the subject line. I'll give you a random number between 0 and 100. Make a picture in Photoshop or Flash.
- This number MUST be visibly incorporated into your picture somehow.
- The picture must be 320x240, either in .JPG or .FLA (Flash 8 or below) format.
- No animation. People with fast connections might not even see one frame, let alone two or more.
- When you're done, e-mail me the completed image with COMPLETED and the number I gave you in the subject line.
- If you want to do more than one image, request another number in the same e-mail you include your finished image in.
I'll update this post with information regarding how many parts were assigned and how many have been completed.
