Apart from a brief stint like a year ago, I haven't played it since forever. The sad thing is I still remember most of the items, all the skills, builds whatever. I'm like a walking Arreat Summit website.

Peasant Crown - +1 skills
Rockstopper - Damage reduce & resists & faster hit recovery
Stealskull - Magic find & increased attack speed & 5% dual leech
Darksight Helm - Shitsight Helm
Blackhorn's Face - Lightning absorb & lightning resist & slows
Valkyrie Wing - Amazon skills +2 & faster run/walk
Crown of Thieves - 12% life leech
Vampire Gaze - 8% dual leech & 20% damage reduce.

See? Kill me.

Some of my friends play it and I was wondering about it, how do I join again?
 
Runescape is less fun than it was before they annihilated PKing. Now it's just getting rich and non-lethal pvp, which was only 1/10 the original fun amount.

A six socket polearm is not worth much, it's easy to get by using the socket quest. If it's ethereal or with five sockets, hell yes.

Generally I have found the best way to get a good item from a shitty one is to make a runeword, here (http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/file/370600/28151) is a list of items you can make from runes, along with some cube recipes that let you add some neat magical effects to items.

Yah man, the really good fuckers. Make sure they are the best (e.g. the giant conch versus full helm, whrmhide verses leather gloves et cetera) and also it helps if they already have some magical attributes and shit.

Does anyone know any fun casters to use? I have already tried all sorc ones, and a hammerdin. I can't play as a character that has to click on each individual monster, too tedious for me. I started to make an fire elemental druid but stopped because it seems to me like his damage would never amount to much.

Not bad. I also got Marowwalk (useless nowadays), a piece to that good amazon set, and 2 parts to that Trang-Oul's for Nerco. Oh and a decent weapon for my zealot.

Also, WOW, after reading through the diabloii.net forums it seems that with all the massive changes throughout the years absolutely none of my 3+ year old builds will work any more. Time to research some new strategies!
