Title: My superior laser mouse must have been hacked or something
Post by: HeinekenClock on March 20, 2008, 12:53:46 PM
Because obviously a computer mouse this awesome cannot die.

Well, maybe it did after 8 months of use, shit. So I got my inferior optical mouse from the drawer - and then I found out why I got a laser mouse in the first place.

Every mouse click I make is double click. All I've heard so far from a google search is that there's a windows function that supposedly "traces" accidental double mouseclicks and fixes it, does anyone know how to find it?

I'm using Vista but if I know how to find it on XP it won't be much different in Vista.
General for obvious reasons, currently navigating with touchpad :( :( :(

You just have to set the rate of doubleclicking to be whatever it is when you mean to do it. It'll ignore doubleclicks t hat aren't similar enough.

Too much gay porn can cause your mouse to hate you.

I had the opposite problem for one of my mice: the left-click wouldn't register at all, and when i click and drag, it cancels out at random periods so my lines look like morse code.

Turns out the mouse is just designed by a retard because if I take it apart and click the tiny leftclick myself nothing is wrong, it's the casing around it that's to blame.

Fuck now I have to wait until tomorrow to get a new mouse aaaaa
