I'm picking it up in a few days, I've played it and it's really fun, and has 32 person online multiplayer, which means we finally have our first wii online shooter!

Anyone here actually own it yet? Discuss it here!

I didn't play it long enough to know just how many weapons are in the game. To anyone who has it; how big is the variety of weapons?

never been a big fan of MoH, felt it to be clunky, but i did play this and i thought it was alright

Personally if i were looking for violent games, or good games, i'd get a 360 or a PS3, which is why i traded my wii for one. The only shooter i've enjoyed on the wii was Red Steel, and even then, only to a limited amount of enjoyment.

Red Steel was primarily shooting segments, because nobody can figure out how to get 1:1 sword controls with the wiimote, so sword segments invariably suck.

I played Red Steel at a friend's house once.
It felt like I was driving drunk with a stick-shift and an annoying backseat driver that keeps kicking the seat.
What I mean to say is I hated the game.

I found it to be the only shooter the Wii's accomplished well enough.

And yes, appart from the sword segments, those were buttershit.

To be honest, No More Heroes is the violent Wii game I have enjoyed the most so far. A FPS for Wii has yet to impress me.

EDIT: Watch the video and compare it to other wii shooters excluding Metroid Prime 3. I doubt you can honestly say it looks like shit compared to the other competition that's out for the system right now.

I've been playing a lot of Wii Sports and a bit of Soul Calibur 4. They're both pretty great, as far as I'm concerned. I can't wait to try Brawl. They need to come out with a Secret of Mana port for the Wii, because 3 player action RPG is fun.

I haven't played any proper shooters yet, though.

Hmm, that's actually kind of disappointing, I had been hearing nothing but good things about this game.

I'll rent it first before going out and buying it.
