Title: Albums You're Listening To
Post by: Arctic on April 01, 2008, 01:28:09 PM
I usually go through phases of listening to mainly a few albums at a time until they seem played out to me and then I move on, and may come back later, or just occasionally.  In the assumption that other people do this, what albums/artists are you mainly listening to now?

For me:
Cold War Kids - Robbers & Cowards
Band of Horses - Cease To Begin
Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend
The New Pornographers - Challengers
And a return to The Format - Dog Problems
On the way out: Cool Kids - Totally Flossed Out EP

At the very moment I'm between an album phase, but my last one was "Circulatory System", it certainly didn't get old.

I really liked "We Are the Night", even though the title track wasn't so good. "The Pills Won't Help you Now" was very good.

I usually just listen to 1 album at a time and check out whatever my friends say is good on YouTube.

I'm currently listening to "Nightwish- Once".

Don't say 'yeh, fuck you'.  I hang out with people who enjoy mainstream stuff, so I learned quickly not to care what other people think about my tastes.  Bright Eyes is great if you ask me.

I've listened to the album a ton, it's very addicting.
Also the title track is one of my favorite songs on the album.
