Paintballing is a rather inspirational minimalist short film directed by Grant Orchard for Future Shorts (http://www.futureshorts.com/). With brilliant use of sound, pacing, humour and visuals, the film sticks to the minimalist formula, but also defines a style of its own, proving to be an excellent model for simplicity-loving animators to follow.

Interesting that they chose to do it completely from that perspective. The paint splashes were consistently very pretty.
that was awesome!
It left me in stitches!
did the guy at the end get killed?

I think he shot himself, seeing as he doesn't get up, the 'paint' was red, he shot through his head and there's still blood spurting out of his head when he's on the ground.
And everyone else stands up when the time runs out!
That was great. I loved the animation and style and paintball splatters, and the sounds of the paintball guns added a humor of their own when the large groups were chasing just one man.
Those splashes were amazing. Although I think they just filmed themselves splashing paint and then traced each frame. Still, it would have taken AGES.
