It says that it failed to connect to the site. I tried after changing my firewall settings as suggested, then with my firewall disabled, no dice either way. I can't find any solutions on their forums other than to just wait because the server might be screwy.
Anybody else having this problem?

The only thing I noticed was when I started the program and then went to youtube it logged you out. But I closed the program and went back and I was logged in.
I only downloaded one video and it seemed fine.
EDIT: I just looked at the comments. Most of them are negative because people are saying "You can get free downloads with firefox/this place/that place/etc".
So basically its only bad because people think its useless. Granted yes you can download videos with other things, but that is the only reason people seem to be rating it bad. The program itself is fine.

Can't always trust the ratings because it might be just one feature of the product. Many things might be able to grab an FLV but that doesn't mean it can also convert it or have as good conversions or optimizations or various other features.

Well, I did this for one video but was too lazy to retest it. But I downloaded a video and made it a avi. Then I went to put it in my video editing software and it didn't accept it. I should download another one and test to see if it was just that one but like I said, I am lazy. So when I wake up tomorrow I will try it again. Unless some one else wants to test if they can take a downloaded video and try and edit it. Also I think the free download should be over by now. So I dunno.

I'm gonna convert another video now in different sizes (since the only format I can edit in is avi that they have) and see if I can't put it in my video editing software.
