haha, no srsly its a good comparrison ;)

so what happens now is nobody interferes for a couple of years right? and when people realize 8 shreks is way too much, several failed assasination attemtps on the company's CEO occur, followed by international interferance in the company's great plans?

Well you can see how history is going to repeat itself, as a result of their following mathematical formulas based on past successes, rather than trying to push what they've already achieved.
