I know its been a few weeks since the movie was released but there are alot of questions and alot of rumors but I've been doing some homework on this and I have quite a few stuff to share with all of you clocks.....

Two, that whale thing isnt the monster, its a weird creature that looks like a frog, lizard hybrid
 
Three, there was a drawin of it around the net but its not accuate, what it looks like is exactly like the toy
 
Four, the protagonist is going to japan because of a company called Slusho and its said that they have a part of waking the monster
 
Five, I doubt #4 and strongly thinkthat the satalite that fell in the ending of the movie, (Yes, it wasnt the monster) was from the same company that drills underwater for oil nad woke the family of monsters
 
Six, rumor has it that there is more than one monster.
 
seven, J.J. Abrams reason for making the movie was for having america to have its own monster, King Kong doesn't count and he says hes cute, plus K.K. was from an Skull island, japan has godzilla
 
eight, the monster is said to have come from space and slept in the earths ocean trenchs
 
nine, they might have a sequel to the movie,

great news clocks!! I have been given word by wikipedia that a extremely possible sequel will take place with another camera man, it said that the part where hud is taping the bridge before the brother dies they see a man with another camera on the other side while hud is looking at the capsized boat you see the same guy taping hud for a sec, J.J. Abrams says if that is the sequel then thats the only time the two points of view intersect before they leave off there original plot lines" fucking awesome huh? and what did fall at the end of the film?? they said that something fell on the ocean, and also wikipedia stated that there is a manga in japhan that acts as a prequel to the film.... one of the best posts ever huh?

Actually, now I know that they are making a sequal, but the plot line is hard to think up of, and with all the hype there was in it, what if they dissapoint us, that would really buzz-kill the films, and also I heard that there might have been multiple monsters in NY, and I heard the reason the guy was going to japhan was that he got a job at slusho, a drink company, and for some reason i heard that copmany was drilling and awakened the monster(s) from their 1million year sleep

*New update, I have new new about cloverfield, one there is a manga that serves as a precuel to the movie, i think i mentioned that and I found 2 teaser pics of CLoverfield 2 also slusho wasn't the company drilling it was tagruato and thats all I managed to find, can you guys dig the internet for more pics?*

*Update, Believe it or not, and I don't know why the fuck I wouldn't have posted this sooner but Jason isn't dead, and is true, as said from one of the people behind the scenes of Cloverfield that the tail smashed behind him and just catapulted him into the water but anyone wouldn't thought he died though...*

I know that but I find it hard to believe that anyone doesn't know this by now (With you in mind) and I thought it would be most conveinent to post it all on here instead of another blog/forum that I am not familiar with and no shit I saw the movie, It was some pictures that I found around the net for everyone else for christ's sake....
 
Plus I am into the movie and I am positive that someone here knows something about it that I don't (You are not one of them, I am not so sorry in your case though)

80% of movie sequels suck so.

The whale monster thing is a much better design than the actual Cloverfield. Cloverfield is ugly and stupid looking and completely unlikeable. The reason Godzilla and King Kong have stayed in the monster history books is because they're simple and memorable and strangely loveable.

Somehow, when I think of Godzilla or King Kong, "lovable" doesn't exactly come to mind.

I think Clover's design is great. It's new and different, a completely alien monster, unlike the two previously mentioned.

Oh come on one's a dinosaur and ones a massive ape and dinosaurs and apes are famously awesome. Even if you don't want to hug Godzilla you can't deny that he's fucking A and were you big enough you would high five him without a second's thought. You couldn't high five Cloverfield because his arms are all backwards and stupid.

Cloverfield's designers get points for originality but much larger minus points for coming up with something so silly looking. They should have got HR Giger.

Also I'm pretty sick of aliens. I think stuff that comes from Earth is much more interesting but that's just me.

because the cloverfield monster is 30 stories tall, whereas godzilla is 10 so the monster is 3 times bigger than him

This pretty much summarises my issues with Cloverfield. On top of that I feel that he was specifically created to be better than the other monsters (not that they succeeded or anything!). It's like they got a list of stuff that King Kong and Godzilla and Optimus Prime and Ultra Man Mothra and all the other giant monster people can do and tried to come up with something better than each of their powers. OK SO WHAT IF HE'S AS BIG AS GODZILLA BUT HE'S GOING TO GET LIKE WAY BIGGER SOMETIME AND WHAT IF HE HAS LITTLE THINGS ON HIM THAT ATTACK PEOPLE AND HE MAKES PEOPLE EXPLODE. They need to learn to just keep it simple.
