The bungie website had a count down timer this morning, but now there is a letter saying they can’t say what they were going to say. I is sad :(
Well I hope it is a reconsideration of not making any more Halo games, though I remember about them making something new. I was interested.

i was talking to jim about this and this could be a good thing. fuck master cheif off completely and bring in a new formula and a new game set in the halo auniverse and the game could be good.
i regard the halo universe like the stars wars one now; it's big enough they can just make all the shit they want for it and what story isn't there they can happily make up as they go along.
for example they could make a game where you're part of a so far un-named race that the covenant are trying to take over and you fight them and the game follows that race's struggle.
because they've got no ideas that don't involve some masked unstoppable combat solider

what there working on is not gone, the anouncement is just delayed.
I told my friends they probably planned this from the beginning and were just fucking with people.
