Title: Hello, ClockCrew!
Post by: Pissed-on Clock on July 25, 2008, 05:18:19 PM
I am Piston, and hope to become an official clock one day! First let me say what I can give before you kick me out.

I can contribute both music and art, but I'm shit at Flash, so if somebody can help me with that, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

I've been watching ClockCrew flashes for about two years now, and I am ready to take the evolution from standard interneter to the envied Clock rank.

P.S.
Thanks to Sage for helping me with a little posting error.

As most of us know you can't be sarcastic in text.

To be a clock, post 7 more times then do something for 6 months.

Enjoy your time here.

Hello, how do you smell sarcasm anyway? You could hear it but it's written down.
If you're looking for help go on that adopt a clockling thread
EDIT: Also, proof of your art and music?

Pfft it cost you $50 to record guitar to the computer? I just use my dad's Line6 with a midi card or just plug in my effects board to my compy through line-in either way has good sounds

とにかく、いっらしゃいませ ^w^

This is the softest, most inviting intro thread I think I've ever seen. Take that for what it's worth.

Is the effects board a program or an actual piece of hardware that you buy?

I must agree, before I could post I spent the whole time learning how NOT to post. I read a bunch of intro threads and just sat there taking mental notes like "OK, don't do that, don't do this". Preparation is very important to me.

You're so lucky! Do the pedals come with customizable effects, or are they presets that you can tweak?

I wish I had your luck, the last thing I won was in third grade (not a joke) and it was some little BattleBots toy thing. It came complete with missing parts, a non-functioning motor, and no receipt!

Also about this: (^∇^)
Where do you find the symbols for that? Like I know the (^^) but the triangle? I didn't even think that was a usable character.

EDIT:
Do you have anything on the audio portal I can hear?

No, we wouldn't want to offend anyone or anything! Not like this is our purpose in life!

Hello Piston that pistons. You may consider flipping the orientation of your Piston character, so that the cylindrical bit that transfers the actual force is facing downwards (center of gravity) and the clock is on the shaft. That way the character it's self can still function as a piston, because foreign objects have access to it's functional areas!

You're an artist, it's plain to see. Take criticism lightly, whether you accept it or not, and you'll survive.

It's the backwards difference operator, perhaps among many other things.

I see! So the up and down movement will create some sort of bouncing, and therefore movement, and be able to shake things! Will do soon. Thank you.

Well I just meant that they don't make clock holes on cylinders, but that works, too. :)

Well blackmagic I happen to know what art is. Just look how classy my picture is.
Trust me piston is no artist. He plays guitar but that doesn't make him an artist.
