You have to take into consideration that this forum will never have a new post after a couple of days. Knowing that makes the animated one seem like a choice better. Not to mention that using the animated one may catch the eye of wandering clocks, who may then decide to look at the flash movies within.

I pm'd all the icons to the admins previously, as well as links to this thread. I've also spoken with Leek over msn about this issue. The only one who was willing to do anything was ZombieLincoln, but he doesn't have access to upload forum icons. Harumphf!
