I've always been fascinated by flags and heraldry. Some truly brilliant designs with deep significance can be found on flags.

Which are some of your favourite (which aren't somehow associated with your own country)?

The Ghana flag is pretty swell, though; it's like a less silly looking Ethiopian flag.

You've got to love the creativity there.

The flag of Kosovo also depicts the region of the country itself.

It would be neat to see this proposed variation of the Albanian flag adopted as de jure, though.
