Clock Crew

As I have announced in my Newgrounds user blog, I am working on a Tales of Symphonia parody Flash and am in need of some creative consultation/assistance.  I can't seem to think up an adequate loading screen design.  I already have a Photoshopped logo prepared and ideas for sketches, but first I need to figure out a framework for the .swf file itself.  Any ideas?

P.S. I don't know the name of the type font that was used in the game.  If I know the name of the font, I can go find it myself.

I drew HibiscusClock for my Clock Day submission.  Also, I have a collection of drawings here on this computer.  Let's see if I have something you would like...
Most drawings I've scanned are over 3 years old, so here's something I drew for a Newgrounds thread.


As for Flounderman's idea:  No.  I was going to do a fanflash similar to Snowdragon's "Ultimate Naruto Fanflash" series, but with better artwork.

"Tales of Stupidity" sounds satirical. Make it satirical. Like, when they go out of town, the drawing quality suddenly drops, and they're like "Why does the world look so much shittier than the towns?"

Yeah, I plan to satirize the regional censorship (e.g. the Z-skits not being voice-acted outside of Japan) for a few sketches.  Plus, the crappy graphics are a subject for ridicule.

I originally planned to call the Flash "Tales of Stupidity: Zelos' Worst Moments", but then I thought up sketches that didn't involve Zelos, and the idea just stuck.

Plots are cumbersome.  I like to be able to jump straight from gag to gag without having to stick to a long, drawn-out storyline.
Plus, at the end, I can add a segment with some guy from Namco Bandai coming out and explaining (rather poorly) why these clips didn't make it into the game.

One of my best ideas for him is for Sheena to take a picture of Zelos in the shower as revenge for what he did to her.

Animé characters, as a general rule, have no genitalia at all. They either have no genitalia or way too much genitalia, on the hentai end of the spectrum.

It's a typeface, not a font. Like Snake said, it was probably made for the game. However, it's clearly a Brush typeface, especially similar to Tekton and Balloon, though with obvious differences. Tekton will do just fine, in my opinion. If you want, though, you could try and salvage the typeface from the game, or hope it's already online somewhere.

Look for screen shots, vectorize each character. Copy paste each one to make words and sentences. It'd be cool if you could make them into an actual font but I'm not sure how to do that.

You can always use sprites from "Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon", since all of the Tales of Symphonia characters appear in it. Except you'd be making a sprite movie, so you inherit all of the flaws of that.

Definetly make a joke about everyone basically "sacrificing" their lives at the part near the end (eg Genus making the hole in the barrier with magic then not trying to run through because he says he's "too slow")
