It was in a discussion where I was inventing superhero powers to different symbols of the greek alphabet and he called them uncreative and gave some of his own.

hey has anyone seen The Fly? because the people who made mohinder's scenes in the second half sure as hell have. in fact, they liked it so much they thought they'd put it in their show.

don't even try and say "oh but heroes pays homages to stuff all time" and start naming powers that are similar to other characters because you know it's different. the scenes are exactly the same, performances are the same, they're shot the same, even with similar dialogue. i cannot picture this amount of similarity without a producer going "ok everyone, we're going to copy this scene ok?"

having said that, i did enjoy the beginning of season 3 and it was refreshing after the dire and boring season 2. sylar fondling claire's brain was intense

Nice episode that was! In the sneak peak of ep 5 apparently someone comes back. I'm guessing Charles Deviaux (The dude Peter took care of when he was a nurse in Season 1) or Chandra Suresh (Mohinders dad). Most likely Charles. But then again all I had to play on was the back of the dudes head.

Also the surprise with Sylar, or should I say Gabriel in the future was quite interesting. And then end where Hiro and Ando dig up Adam/Takenzo Kensei was quite unexpected.

Anyone else notice the kid's name was Noah? Think it could be HRG, or just the fact Sylar named it after him. Also yeah, I don't think Clair is going evil seeing the people that she reports to. She seems to of just become an overall asshole about things.

I don't see how being evil with one good accomplice makes you good.

I'm sure that scene must have been intended as an homage or something because it was pretty much exactly the same as Jeff Goldblum Fly, right down to the post-sex scene where he goes into the bathroom and finds SCARY STUFF GOING ON WITH HIS BODY.

The writers of Heroes really need to work out what it is they do that's good and what it is they do that's shit because there are some good idea in it but they really don't seem to have any kind f grasp on which ideas they are. Here's a bunch of shitty ones:
1. Massive stereotypes for pretty much all the characters.
2. All the girls are blonde and pretty much the same.
3. Bollocks hollywood dialogue.
4. Really obvious suspense.
5. The future is full of ridiculous, scar-faced, leather clad, eye patch wearing badasses.
6. So much stupid stuff going on at once. Fine, Parkman's in the desert being all walkabout and Peter's been trapped in a killer's body by himself for the future bla bla bla but it doesn't all have to happen at the same time jesus christ.

I like Hiro and Noah because they have normal personalities and don't refuse to tell people information for no reason other than to advance the plot. The show needs more characters like them and fewer characters like Peter and that new fucking speedy girl.

i'm not sure i agree. season 2 episodes were very easy to pick apart. so many poor acting, dialogue and editing choices. particularly the flashforward episode. that was dire!

With Ando I think Hiro put a blood pack in there and stabbed it and stabbed Ando a little, but not enough to die. Because the sword hardly pierced anything.

Also isn't it weird how your opinion of Sylar changes when you realize that he doesn't control it. The glimpse into the future really fucked me with all the Sylar's son stuff and shit.

Yeah, I think they're trying to set the stage for Arthur's rise to power. From what's been shown right now, the theme of Villian's has been moving forward, while some of the other previous villians Sylar :C are making a step towards the light. Still though, I really hope that Sylar does something pretty badass in the next few episodes, I always had this going-on that he would kill Angela, or in this case now Arthur.

okay so i just saw the new episode and it was pretty damn lame. The acting is even worse aswell, that scene with Peter and Mohinder in the cab? ive seen elementary school plays with better acting than that.

The plot this season seems better. I hope they show more Sylar, considering hes now the most powerful character since Peter can only keep one power at a time (he better get his full power back :()

It doesn't matter what they do anymore they've already made two characters that no other character can possibly be more powerful than and secured a way that no one can possibly die. Good job giving us a reason to not care about anyone.

Did anyone else think Claire looked a lot hotter then usual in the last episode? I have no idea why but she did, perhaps because the fat Mexican implied that she was a hooker.

Also Sylar is a shapeshifter now which is pretty cool.

this week on heroes: X-men team ripoff nearly complete with introduction of Storm character. Also most unrealistic dead body's ever!

I dumped it this season. If I wanted to watch X-men I'd rather scrounge the internet for the old 90's toon.
