Title: Bioshock 2: The Sea of Dreams
Post by: TruncheonClock on October 30, 2008, 10:02:29 PM
Recently announced after the trailer was leaked to youtube, there hasn't been any details about the game as of yet but after seeing the trailer i'm really looking forward to it.

Higher quality trailer than the shitty youtube vid. (http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/action/bioshock2/video/6199920/bioshock-2-teaser-trailer?hd=1)

Also, i really want to make that Big daddy doll she's holding ^w^

A fairly vague, pre-rendered video generally isn't enough to get me excited about something. I'm sure the game will be lovely though.

so that was one of the girls you saved i pressume? meaning that bioshock 2 would take place several years later. I hope it's not something incredibly lame like a military research team doing investigations or something.

i find it ironic that this teaser trailer fits in with the main theme song thing to BioShock.

like Bioshock was "Somewhere beyond the sea"

the song says shit about "My lover stands on golden sand watching the ships that go sailing"

and even if ther r no ships she's still on the sand. :3

As a teaser, it was perfect. Just a little "hey guys, look what were making" for everyone. Expect a real "Trailer" within the year.

Thumbtacks, Baseball, Corkscrew, Wires, and a can or something. That Big Daddy Doll couldn't be to hard to make.

I really really hope that's just a working title, because I count on them to find something a bit more memorable/less generic that doesn't sound like the sub-title for Peter Pan part XVI

These kinds of trailers can never get me intrigued in a product, but Bioshock being Bioshock, I'm expecting something big.

To tell the truth, I never got into Bioshock.  Killing small children never did it for me.

I feel funny about BioShock; I went into the game loving it and thought it was greatness, but by the end of it I just wanted the game to end already. Maybe due to the lagging/freezing glitch thing my game underwent (played it on 360). It kinda ruined it for me.

Lol I didn't know you could do that.  I just heard that you could kill them after defeating the Big Daddies or whatever those things are.

Yeah, when you kill the Big Daddies, the Little Sisters like crouch over all "Noooo my burly protector has fallen" and then you go up to them and it's like "Press Y to kill them and become a super ocean wizard, or press A to make them not be evil any more and they'll run to safety and you'll just be a regular ocean wizard."

I think you don't even have to do very many of them at all to feasibly be able to finish the game, but the more that you save/kill the more wizard juice you get so you can shoot bees out of your hand and freeze things by bashing them over the head. And plus, I mean, I felt bad for them. Bioshock's like that.
Iirc you get achievement for saving all of them.

I was a selfish little bastard and killed them all because saving meant I didn't get as much whatever it was.
