Title: Firefox freezing/crashing
Post by: Il Duce on November 16, 2008, 10:17:48 PM
Mostly on youtube but also on other sites, firefox will just stop in it's tracks and I'll be unable to click anything, though the mouse can still move around. When this happens it takes about twenty seconds to navigate from one page to another, and it happens pretty frequently. As well, sometimes it will just close everything and tell me that it quit unexpectedly. Any help?

If FF isn't working and it isn't your internet connection I'd suggest Opera, they're pretty similar and Opera has this cool gesture thing that can make browsing a lot easier, here's a page explaining how it works. (http://www.opera.com/products/desktop/mouse/)

I have no problems with ff and freezing anymore but that's since I bought a new laptop 1.5 years ago. Before that it happened a lot and I was on a shitty computer.

Are you on a shitty computer?

It seems fine so far now; I think it may have just been yesterday.
