A lot of moves have 100% accuracy. Swift was just unique in that moves that lower accuracy or raise evasion don't work.

Honestly, the only creative pokemon were in red and blue. Silver and gold were alright. After that they were just pushing it. Seeming as most people on here know all the new ones is a bit...troubling. They only came out a few years ago meaning you guys played pokemon, nay, you BOUGHT pokemon when you were over 12 years old.

after red & blue was when they started doing the forgettable dumb ones that looked more like monster rancher or digimon things than pokemon

I have never seen another person use an exeggutor in their team, but I have seen like 5 or 6 people use Tyranitar that overused fuck. Try thinking of a response that makes sense next time.

Tyranitar has no hope of killing exeggutor in one move with a move that isn't the same type as him OR super effective. Even if it's critical it's still a long shot. You should be using a dark type attack or fire fang if you don't have one.

As for charging of solar beam, you're actually right that I would need to charge it. I forgot that Tyranitar has the ability that makes a sandstorm so that would cancel out my sunny day and make me recast it. You also couldn't change in mid charge by mistake because I never actually charge the move in a battle.

If you used Rock Slide on Articuno it would die. Plus, Sheer Cold only works on enemy pokemon of a lower level or equal, so it would have to be level 100. You'd also have to assume that it was faster than it's opponent.

The big change was the attack/special attack split. Now there's special fighting moves and physical psychic moves. It's weird but it makes sense. Hitmonchan's elemental punches are actually worth something now.

I actually found the Gold/Silver/Crystal Elite Four to be the easiest, they took almost no effort. In Diamond/Pearl, there were some dudes I had never seen, in addition to the fact that I never train so I had to use asshole tactics to kill everything.

Go to bulbapedia and search for a pokemon. The animated sprites should be there.
