How would you initiate it? Where would it be, in what manner would you develop its infrastructure, and how would things be different from other nations once it's had a chance to develop?

I just think it's a fun concept. I think everyone has an idea of how things would be different if they ran a corner of the world, it's just one step further to actually scheme and speculate.

I figure, you could learn a lot about a person by what goes into their idea of a micronation.

I've always thoguht of owning exclaves of other countries, like Kaliningrad Oblast that's part of Russia surrounding the mouth of the Pregoyla, or Cabinda, Angola in Africa.

More so Cabinda since it has the oil, but I might want the Oblast since it's much more stable.

well, my own micronation would technically be my own home, I would secede from canada and would no longer have to pay taxes, and would have diplomatic immunity, unfortunately, when I leave home, I have to show my passport.

I started with the IC chums that spearheaded the first one.

I have always wanted my own nation though. Maybe claim one of those tropical islands no one cares about and sell tourism or something.

Well, if you REALLY wanted to purchase it I'm sure you could talk to the government. I mean you can literally purchase Duke/Duchess titles and whatnot from them.
