Skeppio can go and fuck himself, I have been running three times in the room, clockwise, from the door, three times for the past 30 minutes and the fucker still tells me I did it wrong. I have done it before on PlayStation and SNES but I can't find a way to run south when the door is in the way ruining my course.
Oh and I cheated on the factory before as I already knew the XABY code.
GUYS.
I have never played it but this (http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/game/950181.html) might help you.
who the fuck is skeppio
I need to finally play this damn game. I'll add it to my christmas list.
Quote from: eeem peeeeem;1471297who the fuck is skeppio
I'm not sure, but Spekkio is the Master of War.

I dunno, I never had a problem with the walk-around-the-room puzzle he gave me, and I'm quite enjoying Chrono Trigger on the DS so far. It's a wonderful revisit.
ok fuck dat shit, now I am
in the caves were they force you to use magic (which pisses me the fuck off) and the boss is such a pain in the nibbles. I am using Lucca-Marle combos and Lightning so I don't know how much is left dfor that thing, it has made me use lots of athenean water and I wasnt prepared for itQuote from: FloundermanClock;1471300I need to finally play this damn game. Get it, its freaking cool. Harsh for starters on RPGs, but cool.
Are there any significant level walls tequila?
Quote from: Marlin Clock;1471349Are there any significant level walls tequila?
Ehhhh not really, its hard but only if you don't organize well. (so far, at least)
You will be grinding automatically you are on your adventure because there are many forced encounters instead of being random.
Say you are going north as path of your quest and a bunch of fiends are on your way and they don't reappear unles its a dungeon and you go to other room.
Its designed to be hard but fair without being too frustrating.
Fuck yeah defeated him at last
I AM OFFICIALLY IN THE FAREST I HAVE EVER BEEN IN THIS GAME NOW HOLY SHITZ

The furthest I ever got in the game was
Black Omen, which is right near the end. At that point, I think I got stuck.
I'm at the Golem Sisters boss in the Ocean Palace right now.
Its great.
I just got the (broken) MasuMare or whatever named, already showed it to Melchior, but now I don't know where to go. FFFFFF

The dude just told me I would need a lot of fuck luck to find one. buuuuut I kinda remember him saying that it was a long-long-long time ago... TO THE END OF TIME

Well
65.000.000 BC is a realllly long time ago ;)

The End of Time didn't happen at any time, you silly goose, and certainly not in the past. It's an area where time doesn't exist.

Its a destination!
Quote from: TequilaClock;1471753Its a destination!
It's not anywhere in time, though, so it's not "a long time ago" or "a long time in the future" or anywhere else. It's a place where time doesn't exist. It's in year ∞.
But I have to arrive there to then arrive that other era.
Quote from: TequilaClock;1471782But I have to arrive there to then arrive that other era.
That's because the place of lowest chronological resistance is the best place to go anywhere in time.
WHATEVER OK
Geez Snakeclock its just a game !
Quote from: AsshatClock;1471847Geez Snakeclock its just a game !
Yeah, I guess, but why would someone think "a long time ago" is "the end"?

Why would someone think the end is a piece of street floating in the nowhere where only an old man lives with the master of war ?
So would you recommend it?
Quote from: AsshatClock;1472305Why would someone think the end is a piece of street floating in the nowhere where only an old man lives with the master of war ?
Well, the old man calls it the "end", so in our natural definition of that word would put it at, like, where time stops. And for all we know, that's what it is: the period when time ceases to exist and the universe is no longer changing and moving.
But I'm not sure. Time is a puzzling force.
Quote from: Marlin Clock;1472424So would you recommend it?
Highly.

So is that man god or something ?
Quote from: Marlin Clock;1472424So would you recommend it?
Absolutely.
Its pretty long (still haven't finished and I have no idea how much is left) and it has around 8 different endings. Its really clever.
Okay. One PS3 game and one DS game sounds good for Christmas. I'll just ask for a best buy gift card or something.
Like holy fucking shit you guys I mean fuck I mean I am fighting Magus right now and its the most hardass boss I've ever fought so far.
Quote from: AsshatClock;1472441So is that man god or something ?
If you continue in the game, you'll find out who he is. I won't spoil it.
Quote from: TequilaClock;1473001Like holy fucking shit you guys I mean fuck I mean I am fighting Magus right now and its the most hardass boss I've ever fought so far.
You don't even have to beat him, but it's interesting if you do.

Wait so... I gotta die?
No I'm pretty sure you have to beat Magus, and he's not all that hard.
the first time at least.

He must be fighting him in 600AD at his castle. The battle I'm referring to is one that happens much later.
YOU SPOILED ME EVENTS SNAKECLOCK
Ok now I am really stuck as in stuck-stuck. You know the Tyrann Fortress on 65,000,000BC, I am in the.. what.. second floor? and there is this big fucking ass boss I killed last time I was in this era blocking me on the way but he is being a wankhead saying stuff like "tch yeah he is right over here" but he doesnt let me pass HUFHJGFDHF what the helll
EDIT: Nevermind, solved.
Ok this is annoying as FUCK.
Any of you are on the new Lost Sanctum place for the DS version?
This is the most chored side quest I have ever got in a game and its really annoying. Now I so far have beaten the Nu Master and made him help the bridge building reptite todo the iron bridge to the tower I think, but I consulted GameFAQs and I gotta get through that dark cave first.
The problem is I gave the Saintstone to one of the reptites to give make me a Dragon Arm but now I CANT MAKE THE MOTHERFUCKER GIVE ME BACK THE STONE FOR MAKING IT INTO A WAYSTONE TO ILLUMINATE THE PITCH BLACK CAVE SO I AM ABSOLUTELY STUCK NOW AFTER RUNNING IN CIRCLESFOR HOURS IN THIS ENDLESS TASK CHAIN WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
(in the normal quest I am stuck with the Son of the Sun but I sold my red vests without knowing I would be using them so yeah)
Bumping dis to say I just made Lavos my bitch.
This game was fucking incredible.
There is still something I dont understand.
At the end of the animated video You can see Lucca wandering with a blue mini-Robo and THEN a blonde baby with a pendant like Marle's just apeared and Lucca takes it with a "OH THATS WERE YOU WERE ALL THE TIME" face. What the hell?
And I know nobody gives a fuck about this thread anymore
Well there's more spoiler than non so I'm going to avoid it like the plague for the time being.
Nevermind. I just started the game today. I wasted a bunch of time against Gato in the beginning for that silver sword to find out I'd get it not that long later.
^ You better get used to the lack of save points in the first chapters. You can always save on the overworld though.
Yeah, I just payed for that. After you meet the war dude the first time you come to the end of time, should you go to the hilariously 50's style prehistoric past or somewhere else, because I really want to stay there.
Quote from: Da Coach;1483792Yeah, I just payed for that. After you meet the war dude the first time you come to the end of time, should you go to the hilariously 50's style prehistoric past or somewhere else, because I really want to stay there.
You need to go to the prehistoric if youre searching for
dreamstone for the masamumeIf not then youre not supposed to be there yet.
What the fuck, quick-fire button pressing games are not meant for handhelds.
Or any games, they're I'm a edgy teen. God I hate those things.
Also, if I understand, Crono, who looks in his teens, drinks what one would assume to be alcohol profusely. How did that get past the ratings people?
Never won the drinking contest. Unless you mean against Ayla.
Quote from: Da Coach;1484979What the fuck, quick-fire button pressing games are not meant for handhelds
Those should be outlawed. I have to have other people beat that shit for me.
Quote from: Clayman;1484987Never won the drinking contest. Unless you mean against Ayla.
I was under the assumtion that you needed to beat her in one of the rounds, not just wait until she stops.
Also, damn it all, my power just ran out and I forgot to save.
Another thing I don't get: The cover art has Marle using a fire spell when she uses ice.
Its something everybody realized long ago. It was requested by the fans that they should have changed the flame into blue or something but they kept it for the sake of nostalgia.
Since I've been constantly switching between this, 6 other portable games, and a flash, I didn't really get to do much. So far I'm only at that Dragon Tank. I've been attacking It's damn head, but it keeps healing itself before I can do anything against it because I have to heal Chrono and Lucca every now and then. Yeah, I know I'm still at the beginning of the game, but I'm still trying to beat this.
The Dragon Tank is easy, dude. Just attack physical on the head and once destroyed spam the fuck out of the wheel. From there it becomes easy prey.
Just be sure of having enough resources on your item list.
Crono's Cyclone helps a lot.
Yeah, Idno if I was just messing around in the forest too much before that point in the story, but I was able to beat the tank pretty easily.
Yet again a good thing about this game is you auto-grind in the progess, you don't have to train if no that much to face the next bosses.
EDIT: Of course, the final boss becomes much easier if you first do the optional side quests.
I find it pretty funny that you can face the final boss only a stone's throw from the beginning of the game.
Did it once, too, just to see what'd happen.

Actually by doing this on certain points in the game, you unlock the various endings.
I got the dinosaur age ending once for beating it real quick.
Is it better or worse to defeat magus in the frog v. magus duel?
Also, I looked and there are a ridiculous amount of endings in this game. I'm going to keep playing until there's no choice but to face lavos from the bucket, though.
Quote from: Marlix Wright;1488436Is it better or worse to defeat magus in the frog v. magus duel?
You mean at his castle? Because if its so, there is no option, but if its outside, you gotta decide wisely if its worth or not.
Quote from: Marlix Wright;1488436Is it better or worse to defeat magus in the frog v. magus duel?
He'll join you if you don't fight him.
Which I think is better.
